Greetings Medium Fans!
My name is Sheila and I am your new Medium Dreams hostess. I am taking over for Leora, who still writes for several other b5 Media blogs. Check out her profile to see which ones and go give her a shout. ::Thanks for all the great Medium content, Leora! Have fun with your other blogs!::
For everything you could possibly want to know about me (and then some), check out my b5 Media profile. In the meantime, all you really need to know is I love the show Medium and I am all aquiver to talk about it here with you every day. But who cares about me? We are here to discuss All Things Medium so let’s get to it.
Here are a few things I have planned for the blog:
Liveblog new shows: Okay, I realize we have to wait months for said new shows because the evil studio has relegated Medium to mid-season (January 2007). But hey, it’s something to look forward to.
Recap Seasons 1 & 2: To ready ourselves for Season 3, one must review. I will live-DVD-blog a few shows a week between now and January. Although you cannot experience the show with me because I will be watching it on DVD rather than TV, you can relive it over and over again any time you like after I post. Why is this important? Well, I got to thinking about people who don’t have access to a TV: displaced disaster victims; soldiers and other field personnel; people who can’t afford a TV. Yet maybe these people have access to the Internet via their public library or perhaps they have friends and family who can print things out and mail them (along with chocolate chip cookies and something soft and cuddly) to wherever they happen to be. If a Medium fan can’t get to a TV, I say let’s bring the next best thing to them.
Psychics and Mediums: Are they real? Are they fake? Are they complete nutters? We shall discuss.
Medium Meanderings: Where in the world is Patricia Arquette? How about Jake Weber, Miguel Sandoval, David Cubitt, Sofia Vassilieva, and Maria Lark? If they have been spotted or photographed, you will find it here. Or if you spot them, even better! Email me your scoop or leave it as a comment on this post and I will blog about it.
There is much, much more to discuss. Police procedure. Crime analysis. Dead-people fashion. What do you want to hear about? Drop me an email or leave a comment on this post.
Let’s have some fun, shall we?

Whoo-hoo! Congrats little girl down the block – you’re doing great!I might even have to start watching the damn show! I will say that I have a lot of admiration for Patricia Arquette – girlfriend has the crookedest teeth in the business, is NOT a size zero and still manages to work in Hollywood…..takes balls of STEEL! A role
model for actors everywhere! She was a hoot in Little Nicky (Though the movie’s only so-so) and really gave her all in Stigmata – anyone who hasn’t seen that one should check it out.
I just saw Stigmata for the first time a few weeks ago. Creepy! But isn’t Gabriel Byrne dreamy?
I had no idea Patricia Arquette was a good actress until Medium came along. It was the teeth. I couldn’t get past the teeth. Now I don’t notice them anymore. Huh.
This morning, I looked at this quickly and couldn’t figure out how to post (what ARE all those little pictures at the end of the post – RSS feed links?)
Anyway, welcome to your new home away from home. I wish the season weren’t so far away, but I promise to send you any scoop I find.
Jenn: Great! I will take all the scooping news I can get. And I think I will blog about the little icons at the end of each post because I am only familiar with two of them. Research. Yay!
Why isn’t the medium on? I heard it isn’t coming until January and then maybe not at all? What is wrong with NBC? I am going to stop watching the whole network.
Jen Y: Welcome! Medium has been pushed back to mid-season to make way for new shows like Studio 60. The NBC website says Season 3 will premiere after football in January. I *think* that’s the 3rd or last weekend in January. As soon as I come across more info I will blog about it on Medium Dreams so you will know as soon as I know.
I don’t want to see Studion 60! How could they air such a dry show in place of the Medium? NBC is losing it.
Katone: I don’t know what they were smoking when they made that decision, either. Morons!
