Paul Blackthorne on Working with Patricia Arquette

July 7, 2007 by Katelyn

If you’ve been wondering how it feels to work with Patricia Arquette, the answer seems to be it feels fantastic. Stephanie from Closet SciFi Geek interviewed Paul Blackthorne about the Dresden Files and during the interview he had this to say about working with Patricia:

I did that episode of Medium with Patricia Arquette. I remember doing a scene with her thinking “I’m not sure if it can get much better than this,” and she’s such a lovely lady as well. And you think, “Well, I must be blessed to be sitting in this room,” and if things like that continue to happen then you can’t really complain.

Oh yeah! He was in “I Married a Mind Reader” as Henry Stoller and also his son. I knew I had seen him before when I stumbled upon The Dresden Files!

What a nice thing to say!

People need to sit up and take notice of Patricia Arquette and Medium. I think they will find the whole cast is great (well, except for one).

You’re right, Betty. I can’t imagine being in that position, being able to work with someone I admired so much. It would be an indescribable thrill and I’m sure that’s what he was feeling as well. He seems to be a nice person as well, and it was very sweet of him to say such nice things about Patricia.

(p.s. I added more to the Group Medium episode. Check it out.)
