David Arquette Will Be a Guest Star on Earl
September 5, 2008 by Katelyn
I know you all love having David Arquette behind the camera, but I figured you’d also enjoy hearing that he will be appearing in front of the camera at least once this fall. He’ll be in My Name Is Earl. Another show I don’t usually watch that I’m going to have to catch now. Boy, pretty soon, I won’t be doing anything but watching television. According to The Post Chronicle and NBC, David will be playing Sweet Johnny, a stunt man who has been wronged by Earl and is permanently injured.

Sounds like a good part for him – wonder if he’s been directing any other shows since his stint on Medium?
I would like to see him before the camera on Medium as well.
Betty, I think he has been keeping pretty busy lately. Remember he directed that short film that Patricia’s husband was in, which was part of a series of promotional shorts that he was supposed to be doing? (Wonder if he’ll use his family in the others?) Well I also read that he was guesting on “Pushing Daisies” as well as “MNiE”, although his part on “Earl” sounds a lot more interesting than the one on “PD”. He’s also supposed to be debuting his own line of menswear next week at NY Fashion Week. Sounds like a busy guy alright. I’ve never watched “Earl” or “Daisies” either but I’ll have to check both of them out now.
Pushing Daisies is a very unique and original show – Kudos to whoever thought it up! It is a very quirky show and the actors are all perfectly cast. I’ve missed it since it went off the air due to the writer’s strike. David should fit right in! They’ll need to do quite a recap show to get everyone caught back up in the storylines.
I don’t watch Earl – maybe I’ve seen one episode, if that. It’s a darling of the critics – especially at TV Guide.
