Season Five Spoiler – Joe’s Sister Is Coming to Town

According to E Online’s spoiler chat, Joe’s sister is coming to town. She sounds just as high maintenance as the rest of his family, since she acts very immature and is really into reality tv. Interesting that an NBC show is choosing to kind of poke fun at bad reality tv, huh? Kind of like poking yourself in the eye.
Mara, Joe’s sister, is a vegan. Poor Allison. It is really hard to prepare separate meals for a vegan when your family is not eating the same way. I think we should give Allison a hand and post some vegan recipes for her to whip up for Mara that the whole family can enjoy. Or maybe she’ll just tell Joe to handle his sister’s dietary needs while she dreams up the solution to a puzzling crime.
Anyway, here’s my brother’s delicious vegan stir fry recipe:
A tablespoon of Olive Oil
Two potatoes or a can of sliced potatoes
16 ounces of mixed veggies (We prefer an Oriental veggie mix.)
Can of kidney beans
Teaspoon of chopped garlic
Pinch each of pepper, Basil and parsley
Toss it in a Wok, heat it up and serve. Really simple, but really good. I can eat it all day.
If you don’t care about making the meal vegan, you can add some beef or chicken strips for a heartier meal. My brother usually adds steak to his half after I scoop my half out of the Wok.

Mmmmmmm. As I prepare milk and cookies for Santa (lol) along with the REST of my Christmas feast (great preparation idea for those with small kids like me), I suddenly want to whip `me up a midnight snack. This sounds quick enough to ‘hit the spot’ without putting me to sleep and thus burning my baking fish. Thanks!
