Jake Weber Had a Tough Childhood
May 17, 2009 by Katelyn
The Seattle Times had a book review for a new book about Jake Weber’s family. His parents were really messed up. No wonder he is such a private person. I’d want a good fifty years of peace and quiet after going through all the stuff he went through growing up. I admire his courage and strength. Not many boys with that type of childhood make something of themselves.
I don’t know if I’ll read the book or not. It seems really grim and right now I’m into fluffy stuff. However, for those of you who can handle all the depressing details, the book is called A Day in the Life and was written by Robert Greenfield, who has done similar projects in the past.
Here’s hoping Jake Weber has found true happiness with his girlfriend and his work on Medium. He deserves it!

Seriously? [Is Speechless] Seriously? His family (or his dad) was famous once? Wow.
Wow! I had heard that his dad was friends with some of those 60’s rockers and that Jake grew up with the Stones, but I didn’t know about his troubled childhood. That is incredibly sad, but it is remarkable that he not only overcame his past, but he did it admirably, rising above it to make his own name.
Good for him.
