Well, okay, it is not for suresies, but NBC has ordered six more Medium scripts. Hooray!
NBC foresees a “Medium” pickup
By Nellie Andreeva Mon Apr 9, 10:59 PM ETLOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC’s “Medium” is moving closer to a pickup for a fourth season, despite losing some of its luster in a new time slot.
The network has ordered six additional scripts for the psychic crime drama starring Patricia Arquette — a strong indication that it intends to follow up with an order for episodes.
After a hot start as a midseason entry in 2005, “Medium” cooled somewhat when it was transplanted from its original 10 p.m. Monday slot to 10 p.m. Wednesday, where it ranks third. However, it regularly builds on the lead-in from another NBC crime drama with an uncertain future, “Crossing Jordan.”

WHOO-HOO!!! I LOVE IT!!! Yes! NBC HAS to renew this show. And it looks like we’ll get our wish. Now if only they would listen to us and move it back to Mondays. I am SO psyched about this.

Oh I certainly hope this is an answer to my prayers! Yea! 6 more scripts must be good - I imagine they have already just about wrapped production for this season, so that MUST be for next season!

YES!!! A sign that there really is something right with this world at last. It wouldn’t make since for them to only have a six episode season 4, so that must mean that they will order more. I’m so excited!!

From what I read, there is talk of a possible writers’ strike, and NBC is ordering scripts so they’ll have something to work with, which sounds like to me that they plan to renew it. It’s almost a done deal.
And since the season finale is set for May 16th, the scripts are most certainly for next season.

Yes, I am hopeful and excited like the rest of the gang here! Great to see all the supprt for the show. The next two things I would like to see in the coming months:
1. “Medium’ officially renewed for season 4, and on the Fall schedule for Mondays at 10 (OK, so that was 2 or 3)
2. Patricia getting a well deserved Emmy nomination for this season (hopefully using “The One Behind The Wheel” or “Be Kind, Rewind” as her Emmy submission tape).

That is some good news, and it’s worth noting that Friday Night Lights, another great show, got the same deal. With any luck, both of them will be back next season.

Tks God. I’m a viewer from outside of UUSS and I was devasted just to imagine that my favorite show will be canceled………!!!
