Being Mrs. O’Leary’s Cow Open Mic

by Katelyn on October 7th, 2007

Betty suggested that we talk about the Medium reruns on Lifetime until the new season starts. Sounds good to me! We may not all be able to stay up til 11 p.m. to watch Lifetime’s rerun of Being Mrs. O’Leary’s Cow, so I thought we could start this open mic a bit early. If you have Tivo and have it recorded, you really have it made.

If you need a bit of a recap, this is the episode where Allison meets a plane pilot who is concerned about his missing wife.

    Hi, Katelyn

Been kinda quiet around here lately. Open mic for reruns sounds like fun. At least if it gets boring, we can chat about other things. Speaking of which, I got a question for you. Remember a while back when we were talking about how sick Patricia got last year and we wanted to send her get-well wishes. What was the address that we sent those to? I’m asking because I wrote to her just to say HI and Hope you’re feeling better. And the other day, I got an autographed photo of her in the mail. I was curious about the address so I could compare, just to see if it really could be from her. I’d like to think that it is. If it isn’t, I hope I never find out.

Thanks for that, Katelyn, but a friend pointed me to what I needed to know. Turns out the address that it originated from is a company that handles celebrity fan mail, so most of the mail the celebs don’t even see. That’s kind of disappointing, but in a way, I can understand if they’re too busy to read all of their mail. But it sucks that they think their fans would be satisfied with a copy of a photo sent by someone who is paid to sit in a room and stuff envelopes, and that they never read the words that their fans take the time to sit down and write to them. I’m not trying to bust anyone’s bubble here, but I’ll be curious to know if anyone else wrote to anyone, especially Patricia, at Medium, and what kind of a response, if any, they got.

This was a good episode, but I’m sorry that Allison misinterpreted her information to think that skank of a husband was innocent.

Wasn’t the scene in the car something else? Allison is sitting there and the dead body falls on her. Cool how the navigation system showed her the exact coordinates where the body was buried.

I also loved that we got a glimpse of tough Scanlon in this episode! “I’ll vacuum your entire house and up your nose, between your toes, and up your ass if I have to.” LOVE tough Scanlon!

Sorry, I don’t have email on weekends, so I couldn’t comment before today.

Didn’t you just love Bridgette and the bicycle helmet and then the rubber boots? Too cute!
