Betting on the Golden Globes, Are You?
The Golden Globes are on NBC tonight at 8:00!
The Envelope has posted odds on who will win Golden Globe awards this year. I like the part where they say, “The odds are issued for entertainment purposes only and should not be used for gambling.” Heh.

D’oh! It looks like they do not think Patricia has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning. Or only a ‘one snowball in thirty’s’ chance of winning. But they do expect Kyra Sedgwick from The Closer to win, who I like, so I am not sure how I feel about this. You?

I’m watching the red carpet shows as we speak and thank goodness she looks great. White dress with a little black sash at the top. Really nice compared to some of the other stuff we’re seen her in. It does not look like they are going to interview her though–instead they talk to a bunch of people I have never heard of! Errrg. Well, I send her my luck. I sure hope she wins–she deserves it.

She lost. Kyra Sedgwick from The Closer won. So unfair, she did a wonderful job. They didn’t even do one of those little things where they show a clip of the show. I was looking forward to seeing which clip they would pick. She just does such a phenomenal job in Medium. I guess it’s an honor just to be nominated, but I really wanted her to win.

Well poop and bummer. But I console myself with the knowledge that she is an excellent actress, regardless of whether or not she has a trophy from this year to show for it.
