Thanks for posting this Katelyn! The Sleuth Channel offerings don’t show up on IMDB or the TV Guide website or TV Now. You’d think TV Guide would have it if no one else!

I just happened to find it while surfing offerings.

Darn, and I don’t have the Sleuth channel. Darn Comcast!! I’ve never seen that. I’d love to, drat the luck!
Is it just me or is David Cubitt getting kind of typecast? Seems most of the roles he plays are cops or detectives. But he does it so well, doesn’t he?

God bless you Betty for finding this! I have ALWAYS wanted to see this show with David in it; my DVR is set and ready to go! Woo-hoo! I recently got a new job working on a reality TV show (!!) and met a gal who worked on Medium; I asked her, so how’s David?? She answers, “Yum.” Donchya love it?! Says he’s really nice and of course, nice to look at! (We all knew that, didn’t we?!)

Sometime this summer you’ll have to check out my show; it’s on TLC and is called “Who Are You Wearing?”. It’s a design challenge show for aspiring/wanna be designers to make a dress for a celeb about to attend a red carpet event. I’m one of the on-camera seamstresses there to help them sew. What a blast so far! Never thought I’d be on-camera; kinda fun, kinda scary! I think the first episode will be on in June, not sure. We’ve taped three of ten so far, and I’m hoping it’s a success and more seasons are ordered, as this is the sweetest gig I’ve ever had! I’d love to hear your feedback on the show once we start airing, so set your DVRs!

Rachel you are so blessed! Looks like things are really looking up for you. I suppose now you’ll forget us “little people” here! Ha! Ha! Can I have your autograph now before you get too famous? He He!

What Not to Wear on TLC is one of my fav shows! I watch that channel a lot.

Rachel, it was like a nice little mother’s day gift there for me when I came across it! I sent Sleuth an email once suggesting they get that show - wonder if they paid attention or it was happenstance? Too bad TV Guide doesn’t include the Sleuth channel and too bad none of the search engines pick it up when you are looking for David Cubitt on TV.

I was distracted last night when Robbery Homicide was on, so I didn’t get to pay too much attention, but I have it on tape and hope to be able to give it my undivided attention tonight or this weekend. I don’t think David had a lot to do in this ep. What a gorgeous cop he makes, huh? Like one of the producers of Medium said, “He wears the hell out of a suit!” Sounds like a little man crush to me! Something about the cast, too, not that they are good actors, just they didn’t seem to gel too much as a unit - people who you believe work together and spend a lot of time together. I guess that happens when the hyped “star” of the show is a big time druggie.

David Cubitt seems like a terrific guy when you see his photo or hear him in interviews or hear his co-workers talk about him. I just get that nice vibe from him that he is a terrific guy.

Tom Sizemore, on the other hand, not so much. Really, not at all. In fact, I just get a creepy vibe from that dude.

Yeah, that Tom Sizemore gives me the creeps, too! Ick!

The gal I met said David is so nice and breezy, and really does have a brood of kids! I was a bit skeptical about that, but not anymore. He and the gang live in Canada and he comes down for taping. I asked how tall he is (always been curious), and she said about 5′9″ or 10″. And yes, he does wear the hell out of a suit! Yum.

And if you’re responsible for bringing the show to the Sleuth channel, you should get a job as programmer there! Of course, we’d have to eventually change the name to the David Cubitt Channel…!!

Autographs will go on sale for $75, and then will increase once the show gets more popular. HA! Wouldn’t THAT be nice! Just countin’ my blessings and enjoying the ride!

    Happy Mother’s Day to you!

Happy belated Mother’s Day to you Rachel!

That’s so great to hear about David Cubitt - you can see it in his eyes and face - terrific guy! We should all be so lucky to find a great guy like David! That makes sense that he lives in Canada with his family - judging by things I read or heard him say in interviews, heis hugely into family and LOVES Vancouver, CA where he had bought a house and had it renovated while he was still single and dating Chandra West. He said he wouldn’t want to raise a family in NY or LA, so that makes perfect sense. He doesn’t care for the climate in LA either - too hot and dry for his taste. If you look at Vancouver’s weather, it’s actually kind of boring in the winter months, it pretty much stays the same temp day and night - not much variation - hovering in the thirties or forties - very little difference. They don’t have the problem with papprazi that people in LA deal with - a lot of shows are filmed up there - Anne Heche of Men in Trees bought a house there and loves it - no problem with someone invading her privacy. I think David is VERY protective of his privacy and his family - he’s an all-around great guy!

I’ve often wondered about his height because it’s not included on his IMDB page - in some shots he looks very tall and other’s not so much. A lot must be camera angles.

Thanks for passing that on to us Rachel - if you get any more info, PLEASE let us know!

Best of luck to you! PLEASE try to remember us little people here when you are rich and famous and have your own show.

Rachel, I think I know why Tom Sizemore is so creepy - if you look into his eyes, they’re just dead - like he has no soul. He sure has nothing in the looks department either.

    Katelyn, thanks for the schedule!

Hey Betty! I’m not a Mom, but thanks for the felicitations all the same!

That Tom Sizemore; anyone who would date Heidi Fleiss, also creepy, is mayor of Creepsville! And dead eyes! You nailed it!

And technically speaking, I’m still one of the little people! But, I have high hopes for the show, and I’m having an absolute blast. We’ve had some very nice ladies as our celebs so far, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s hard to judge how it will look on camera, since so much time passes and then is edited down, but so far some interesting people as designers and some drama, too! Should be very entertaining! A lot less cut-throat than other reality shows and more ‘go for your dreams’ show.

I hope to see the woman I met who worked on Medium again; she was so fun and funky and sweet. And to hear such nice things about David was truly a treat; so many times actors appear to be genuine, and are real sh*ts on-set. Made my heart warm over to know that our dear David isn’t that way at all! You’re right, Betty, about him being protective of his family and not wanting an LA lifestyle. I certainly can’t blame him! Living here, I can credit him with having the presence of mind to know what works for a family and what doesn’t. Maybe because he’s so grounded on his own, has made a decent living as an actor, without all the hoopla and crap of A-list celebrity-doom, he can fly under the radar of paparazzi and tabloid stuff and just work and provide for his family. My kind of guy. I’ve been fortunate to meet other men and women like him and can say for certainty they exist! Exceptions to the rule always get my vote!

Rachel, it’s good to hear that you are meeting some nice people and it’s not such a cut throat kind of show - I hate all these new shows that are based on greed and getting as much as you possibly can.

David seems to be one in a million! I imagine living in Vancouver there isn’t so much pressure to wear designer clothes and buy $4,000 handbags - why do all these teen stars think they need $4,000 handbags in every color and all the expensive stuff? Don’t they ever think about their future and saving for a rainy day and - horror of horrors - helping someone less fortunate than they are? Jetting around the globe to shop and partying every day. I’m sure David is careful with his money because having security for his family is of the utmost importance to him. Sure, buying something fine every once in a while is fine and it’s OK to reward yourself for working hard, but why do they shop like it’s their job to spend buckets of money every day? I’m sure the lifestyle in Vancouver is much more grounded. I wonder how many of these young stars are going to be broke by the time they hit 40? Being “hot” in Hollywood doesn’t last and if they don’t make wise decisions, they’ll be in bankruptcy court before you know it!

After I went back and gave 100% of my attention to Robbery Homicide Division, I think Sizemore was a big part of the problem. CBS was nuts to make him the star of the show - they would have done far better to make David Cubitt and Michael Paul Chan the stars and gone with that. I just don’t see any chemistry among those actors and I’m sure all the c*ap with Sizemore was a big part of the problem. I’m not so sure it was that smartly written either, but I’ve only seen the one ep, so maybe I’ll think more of the writing after I’ve seen more episodes. It is still a treat to get to finally see something else that David has done!

Best of luck to ya Rach! Keep us posted if you hear any more info.
