David Cubitt Sighting

Just when you gave up all hope of seeing him anywhere but on Medium, David Cubitt has made a rare appearance in the news. That’s right, folks! According to Motorsport.com, he was seen enjoying the Vegas Grand Prix charity gala. Unfortunately, no photos of this sighting were available, but I know any die hard David Cubitt fans will be excited to know he does exist outside of Medium.

    Too bad we couldn’t see any candid photos of David. He’s even more elusive than Patricia, if that’s possible. But it’s great to hear of him getting out and having fun.

    p.s. Katelyn: Speaking of getting out, I read that CBS Paramount held a special For Your Consideration screening of Medium for members of the Emmy voting academy last night. I saw some pics at Getty Images. Just thought you’d like to know.

    Nansee clued me in to this information last week - apparently this was an event over the Easter weekend. Wonder if the missus and kids were there, too?

    Methinks the man likes to keep a very low profile so his life does not become one big circus. It’s kind of a bummer for those of us who would just like to adoringly gaze at him on occasion.

    That’s great news about the Emmy For Your Consideration screening. I wonder what episodes they showed. And what actors are they submitting? I must admit that I know pretty much nothing about the process. Do you have links to those pictures, Dawn?

    I don’t know what episodes they showed, but I’m guessing it was the ones that they’ve submitted for Emmy consideration. There was also a Q&A afterwards with Patricia, Jake, and Glenn Gordon Caron. I’ll bet that was interesting.

    I’m glad to see that CBS Paramount is really pushing them for Emmy consideration. Let’s hope it pays off. I know a lot of people at The Envelope are picking Patricia to get a nomination, though some consider her a long shot, and Jake an even longer shot. But I would LOVE to see both of them get nominated and WIN. And maybe even an Emmy for the show too. What do you think? That’s an even longer shot, I’m afraid.

    Thanks for the link to the Getty Images, Dawn. They are really great shots. I couldn’t get links to individual photos to work, but it is well worth going to the link Dawn provided.
