Emmy Award Countdown

Only five days until the primetime Emmy Awards. Remember, we’re going to try an open mic, so if you’re around on Sunday, keep an eye out. The details straight from the Emmy Awards site:

Steve Carell, Kyle Chandler, the cast of “Entourage,” Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton, Katherine Heigl, Hayden Panettiere, Jimmy Smits, Jon Stewart, Kiefer Sutherland and Kate Walsh have been confirmed as presenters for the 59th Primetime Emmy® Awards, telecast executive producer Ken Ehrlich announced today.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest (“American Idol”), the show will broadcast live from the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 16 (8:00-11:00 ET live/ PT tape delayed) on FOX.

    I’m so excited about the Emmys! I can hardly believe it is this Sunday already!

    Unfortunately, I cannot participate live with you since I have no internet hook up at home, but I will be reading any messages via my cell phone and I can respond Monday.

    I would just absolutely LOVE it if all the cast came together on the red carpet and then sat together in the auditorium, but I doubt that will happen.

    Anyone else PO’d at TV Guide for completely ignoring the fact that Medium is coming back mid-season in their latest issue AND their TV Guide channel special? I swear TV Guide must be on the take from certain shows - you know the ones we hear about adnauseum. Not one mention of Medium at all.
