Escaped Poll - Be On The Lookout
The poll normally found in the sidebar on the Medium Dreams blog made a break for parts unknown earlier today, leaving behind sidebar carnage and a bewildered blogger.
“It all happened so fast,” said b5media blogger Sheila Livingston. “One minute it was there and then suddenly I was staring at a big error message.”
Readers say the poll was quiet but seemed happy. There were no indications it might do something like this. The incident has sent shock waves throughout the community.
When questioned about the missing poll, b5media Technology Manager Aaron Brazell had no comment.
Will the poll return? What caused its flight in the first place? We may never know.
Hold your loved ones close today, good people. It’s a big bad world out there.

The poll was captured while attempting to sneak across the border into Canada. It is en route to Medium Dreams and will arrive shortly. On a sad note, the poll abandoned all votes during the failed escape attempt. Please show there are no hard feelings and make the poll feel welcome by re-casting your vote in the sidebar. That is, when the poll perks up enough to cooperate. It is feeling a cranky right now, what with being caught and all. ————————————————–>

Polls HAD to be upgraded due to security. Another b5 blog was hacked because of a known flaw that I publicized back in September.

Aaron: No no no, that is not how you play the game. You cannot say something BEFORE an event and then go back later and call it a comment. Comments come AFTER. Sheesh.

G: I was pissed that all the votes on what I considered to be a VERY IMPORTANT POLL went away before I had the chance to tally them. Rather than pee all over Aaron (he gets mean when you pee on him, or even when you don’t pee on him but he THINKS you have peed on him, and besides - shit happens so you might as well accept it and move on), I decided to channel my anger into humor. It worked! I feel so much better now. =)

That’s a naughty, naughty poll.. it needs a spanking.. a long, hard, yet tender and sensual spanking.
Then maybe a cigarette and some cuddle time after.
Well, since the content option I like most isn’t an available choice in the poll, I’ll just have to write in and say that my favorite Medium Dreams content are pictures of Patricia Arquette’s
ginormous breasts in truly horrible dresses.

JCW: Hee hee! With the poll upgrade, I can now set them up so you can add an answer. I set this one up that way but maybe there’s a glitch. Anyway, watch for that option on future polls.
