Well, on a local level, we have more vandalism than freaky news. Can you believe someone tossed a fire bomb into a local library and caused $5000 worth of damage? They had just renovated recently and did a lovely job and I can’t believe someone would be that rotten.
On to wacky news in the rest of the world. This guy is so glad he didn’t check the cab seats for change:
A judge in New Orleans gave a man convicted of holding up a cab driver one year in prison for each dollar taken - 75 dollars, 75 years.
One woman listens to her intuition and catches a creepy criminal on tape in her home:
Twenty-four-year-old Nicole Bishop had just moved to Houston when she started noticing odd things in her one-bedroom apartment…
The article goes on to give all the creepy details about what happened when she put a hidden camera in her house and how fortunate it is that he took something with him so that he could be charged with a crime that involves jail time. The most bizarre thing about this story -if you want to go into someone’s house, try on their stuff, move things around and do disgusting things on their furniture, you will be charged with trespassing-that’s it.
