Guess the Celeb - Medium Fun
I’m Not Obsessed needed the help of Medium fans the other day. Hardly anyone got the answer to her Put that Celeb Together post, but I’m betting you all can do it in seconds:![]()
That is a really neat little game she has.

That one was so easy. And only one person guessed Patricia Arquette over there. And they weren’t even sure. Too funny.

Katelyn,
Did you see in this week’s TV Guide that Medium is mentioned a few times? Valerie Bertinelli is starring in a movie on the Hallmark channel called “Claire” which is about a Clairvoyant who talks to dead people! In the article they asked Valerie about playing that part and she said she was a fan of “Medium”. I thought you might want to post the quotes about it on this site somewhere.
It’s unusual for TV Guide to give any mention of Medium, at least in a positive way.

Wow, that’s cool to hear, Betty. It’s nice to hear someone in Hollywood actually say they like the show. And I love Valerie Bertinelli. She’s a lot like Patricia in the sense that she gets little respect from the media. The last few times I’ve seen her name mentioned in the press, it’s always been in a derogatory way, making fun of her weight and that deal she had with Weight Watchers. A lot like Patricia is always criticized for her weight and her fashion sense.
I’ll definitely have to check out that issue of TVGuide. Thanks for the heads up on that. You’re right about TVGuide never giving Medium enough attention. It’s a shame that quality programming gets overlooked so often in favor of pop culture programming or so-called “watercooler” shows. For my money, there is only one watercooler show and that is Medium. Well, I love The Closer too, so I guess that’s two. Lol.

I always look to see if Medium is on the cover, but I don’t buy most of them. I’ll have to go out and get a copy. Thanks for the heads up!

Katelyn, I always pick it up and read through it, because TVGuide hasn’t done a feature on Medium since the 3D episode which was in November of ‘05. Sometimes there will be a small article on the inside, or maybe a brief mention, but they almost never do feature stories on Medium. Yet we see Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Heroes on there every other week, it seems like. It’s really getting rather tiring hearing about those shows all the time. I’m sure they’re good shows, and some people like them, but I just have never gotten into them, and I wish the media would be a little more unbiased in their reporting and coverage of television and celebrities, because every week, it’s the same handful of celebrities in the news. And most of the time, it’s about some scandal or something, rather than something good that they’ve done. Or it’s just shameless paparazzism, posting pictures of people who they deem to be “beautiful” or newsworthy. It’s sickening, really.
