Has The TV Show Medium Helped Psychics?
It seems these days people with psychic abilities are all over TV. From Patricia Arquette’s character on Medium, to Jennifer Love Hewitt’s on Ghost Whisperer to the talk shows like Crossing Over with John Edwards, TV is really interested in the supernatural these days.
I was wondering how these show affect real life psychics.
One psychic has definitely gotten a boost from TV. Sandy Anastasi’s rates have gone up considerably since last year and equates that in part to TV’s coverage of her art.
“Business has increased, and it continues to increase, which is phenomenal,” Sandy’s Publicist said. Via Herald Tribune
This September Anastasi should expect another pay raise when she appears on the John Edwards show.
So as a population are we starting to believe more in psychics because of TV? Who knows.
