Jake Weber’s Upcoming Appearances
Jake Weber has been a very busy man. Besides playing sleep deprived, incredibly patient and devoted Joe, Hollywood.com says he has been cast in two other movies. (Actually three , but he is not in From Within, despite what the site says.):
Summerhill is based on the school that Jake Weber and a host of other celebrities actually attended and an attempt to save the school from being closed. The info I’ve found says it will be out in 2009.
Don’t forget about “She Lived” which has been filmed and will be coming out in 2008. Jake Weber plays Robert Heartly in this horror movie about a girl who is stabbed by her mother and is scared that she also is mentally ill. Buddy TV has a nice article about Jake Weber and the movie.

Congrats to Jake.
In other ‘Medium’ news, i saw 2 commericals on NBC for our beloved ‘Medium’ last night, and both looked great. patricia looks very beautiful, and they even showed Angelica Houston in one preview.
Patricia is platinum again, and has lovely sideswept bangs. She looks ravishing this season, waking up screaming and gasping or not.

Lol, MWA, I saw the same thing. I think it’s great that NBC is actually showing not one, but TWO different commercials for the show, and it looks like they might actually be going to push the show. I noticed that Patricia’s hair was a little different, the bangs, I mean, but I didn’t notice anything different about the color. She still looks great. I can’t wait for the show to come back. I hope NBC keeps up the promotion and really tries to boost the ratings for the show, so it’ll be back next year (that is, assuming the strike is over by then)
Oh, someone on imdb was asking about the song that was playing during that commercial with Anjelica Huston in it. Did you recognize it? I didn’t.

If I were smart, i would ahve taped the commercials. i am sure I will between now and when it premieres.
I did not recognize the song.
I noticed her hair is lighter. Did you ever notice that when (even when she was making films for years), her hair is platinum when she is not working. The alst 2 years, when she has been back working on ‘Medium’, her hair starts off platinum and slowly gets darker by the end of the season. The lighter the better on her fair complexion.
Her makeup also looks different, more shine to her lips and sexy eyes. I liked her makeup best in season 1, excluding the pilot. They made her look very fresh, with rosey cheeks. =)
The side swept bangs work realyl, really well. =)

Unfortunately, NBC really has nothing on their schedule right now I care to watch, so I haven’t seen any commercials. Sometimes they show commercials on cable nets they own, but I haven’t seen any commercials for Medium at all. Too bad they don’t give it the big PR blitz they do for Heroes and Bionic Woman.

I’m with you, Betty. As I said, I don’t watch The Biggest Loser, but I taped it just to see if there were any commercials, and sure enough, there were two of them. I taped Journeyman tonight just to see if they show any commercials during it, and to see just how much promotion they are giving the show. If they show commercials two nights in a row, then they are really giving it a push, which is great. Let’s hope it helps and keep our fingers crossed that the strike ends before the new eps run out. That should be sometime in early/mid March if they run them consecutively. That’s going to be WAY too soon for me. They better get this thing resolved before the new eps run out or I’m gonna be sick.

Dawn, somehow I just can’t bring myself to tape a show I don’t watch and have no interest in and then sit through it - even though FF it - just to see a 30 sec commercial that I might miss. You are more dedicated then me! Although I would love to see a promo - it would be nice if they would do some print ads and all. I’ve let my TV Guide subscription run out and I’m not sure if I will renew at this point. NBC sure spent a lot of time and money promoting Heroes and Bionic Woman and all. I don’t think they’ve ever given Medium that kind of blitz. TV Guide? Don’t even get me started on their favoritism to certain shows.

Well, TV Guide seemed to LOVE ‘Medium’ the first 2 seasons. next thing you know ‘Heroes’ is a new show, and TVGuide goes gaga over it.
No worries, NBC has been advertising ‘Medium’ fairly well so far, at least during the Biggest Loser and Journeyman, so hopefully they keep it up. TV Guide should also have a cover piece on ‘Medium’ this year, wouldn;t you say?

mwa, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for TV Guide to do any features on Medium. If they did, I would probably fall over and die from heart failure at the shock! They have done and continue to do so many features on Heroes and each and every cast member seems to get a FULL PAGE or more spread, then there is all the stuff they’ve done for Bionic Woman, not to mention the continued love for The Office, My Name is Earl, and 30 Rock. Medium does well to get a liner or two. I don’t think they’ve ever done the big feature articles on any of the actors in Medium. When David Arquette directed that episode, they gave it a half page with most of that being the pic of David & Patricia. I’m glad they gave it that much, but if it would have been one of those other shows? Wow, they would have been falling all over themselves. It’s a shame since Medium is such a quality show and the actors are all first rate.

Betty, you’re probably right, but maybe since the other shows are all running out of episodes, they’ll do more stories on the ones that do have new eps, like Medium. We can hope, can’t we? :)
