Kyle XY Season 2 - The List is Life Review

Was it just me or did The List is Life fall just a bit flat? Maybe with the fantastic first episode of the season, The Prophet, and then The Homecoming, which had plenty of surprises, it was just not possible to have another really dramatic, exciting episode. I really thought the part where Kyle just stood there and the other kids started spouting Kyle type wisdom, thanked him and left was just kind of silly. However, it is Kyle XY, so there was a bit of tension and drama, too.

Breaking Up is Hard to Do:

The break up in the lunch room was sad, but pretty well done. I know a lot of people were probably wondering what took so long. That guy was so shallow and Amanda (Kirsten Prout) really deserves better. However, the second break up, between Lori and Declan was just plain depressing.

Just Another Party, Mom:

I don’t know about you, but we never rushed into burning buildings, saved girls from burning up and had our clothes in flames, only to be completely uninjured when we went to parties. Kyle and Lori had a great scene where she talked to him about being normal after the fire/rescue incident that I thought was really well acted. Now the getting trashed because our boyfriends dumped us…Poor Lori.
