Season 2 of Kyle XY on ABC Family
What does Kyle XY have to do with Medium, you ask? Well, there are extra sensory abilities involved and the show is big on family, just as with Medium. And it is a good show that just happens to run when Medium is on hiatus. So, for those of who have watched Medium Seasons 1 and 2 until our DVDs stopped working, here is the lowdown on season 2 of this fascinating series:
Episode 1-The Prophet (originally aired 6/11/07)
Kyle is now living with Adam Baylin, who turns out to have actually made Kyle, which answers the question of why he doesn’t have a belly button. (If you don’t remember from last season, Kyle left the Tragers and went to live with his “family”.) Kyle starts to wonder if he should have left the people who love him for a man who treated him as something he made and should be utilized instead of a son. Kyle grows more and more conflicted, but before he has to make a decision, it is made for him. Baylin is killed and the lab explodes. Kyle thinks it is safe to return home to the Tragers, unaware that a girl similar to him has survived and is tracking him down.

Episode 2 - The Homecoming (originally aired 6/18/07)
Declan and Kyle are both troubled by what they are hiding from the Tragers, but Declan continues to keep Kyle’s secrets. Kyle longs to just be normal, but he cannot ignore what Adam has shown him. In the meantime, the girl from the other pod shows that she is nothing like Kyle by killing a man as she speaks her first words. She betrays Kyle’s existence to the immoral Madacorp CEO.
Episode 3 - The List is Life (originally aired 6/25/07)
Kyle still is trying to be normal, but it is hard when everything around him is so abnormal. Friends are breaking up, he walks through fire without being burned and XX, now Jessi, is much too close for comfort.

Episode 6 - Does Kyle Dream of Electric Fish (originally aired 7/15/07)
Kyle’s powers continue to grow and he discovers a secret - a disk that was hidden for him in a book that has fish all over it. He also deciphers a secret message that warns him about Foss.
Episode 7 - Free to Be You and Me (airing 7/23/07)
