Medium Episode 4.01 “And Then” Open Mic
Just hours to go and we will be enjoying a new Medium episode. That’s right - if you’ve somehow missed the news, Medium will be airing episode one of season four tonight at 10 pm EST on NBC. Please join me for an open mic during the show.
To celebrate the return of our favorite show, let’s have Old Pal Cocktails: 1/2 oz Italian Vermouth, 1/2 oz Grenadine and 1 1/2 oz Rye or Bourbon. I also have Champagne and a nice assortment of red wines. For those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, I have an assortment of coffee and tea, as well as some rootbeer floats.
Crackers, chips, my grandmother’s famous cheese crab dip and a big bowl of guacamole should round things out. Feel free to bring your own favorite munchies, too.
By the way, if you are in the central time zone or on the west coast, there will probably be spoilers in the chat. I will post a comment that says “Central Time Zone - It is safe to read below this comment.” after the Eastern Time Zone discussion, so you can join in the fun without ruining the surprises. I’ll try to stay awake long enough to do the same thing for all of the west coast fans, too.

I just can’t wait! It’s hard to believe the day is finally here! I’ll be working my second job tonight, but I’ve set BOTH VCR’s to make sure nothing gets in the way of my having a tape to watch when I get home at midnight or 1 AM!!!!!! You bet I’m watching it before I go to bed!
OK, I’ve got a Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Cake with the same icing - oh so moist and good! Of course I take ALL of the Calories out of everything I bake! I just LOVE Asti Spumonti, so I’m bringing some of that since this occasion is worthy of celebration! It’s been soooo many months without our favorite stars!

This all sounds yummy! I hope I will be able to stay up tonight…today was my first day back to school after break. Having to wake up at six in the morning is not good for my Medium scheduel. Well, I better get off and start on my homework. Hopefully I’ll be back later tonight! I’m so excited!

Hey, again. I just thought I would check in and let you know that the USA Weekend interview has finally taken place. I’m really disappointed, as I thought it would be more than it actually was. Check it out for yourself, it’s worth a read, but really nothing new. Here’s a link:

Betty,
Sounds delicious. I love chocolate.
Holly,
I hope you can make it. Wow, that is a short interview. I bet Dawn and Tom had longer conversations with her this morning!

Happy New Year MD Friends!
It’s so nice to be here with ya’ll. I’m so excited to see this new ep, I’m giddy! Better not make it worse with a slice of chocolate cake, but it sure looks good Betty.
I WILL take a glass of bubbly though…

Wow, just heard about this an hour before it aired. This is great to hear, didn’t think we’d get anything because of the strike.

15 minutes to show time on the east coast. Still flying high from meeting Patricia this morning, what a treat that I will remember forever.
Hope everyone enjoys the episode tonight, we sure have waited long enough.

Did anyone read this?

I didn’t get the impression listening to Today that she was ANGRY.

Jan 7, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Is it just me or is that clown super creepy?
Katelyn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:04 pm
Tom,
No, she wasn’t angry. Trying to do what is right by everyone. Maybe a tad disappointed, but not angry. I’d say someone was having a slow news day and trying to generate some controversy?

I’m HEEEERREE!!
And like Tom, I am still flying high from meeting Patricia. That was the most amazing thing to happen in a LOOOONNNNG time. She was incredible.
Okay, enough about that.
That was an interesting way to open the show with the fans recapping the finale from last season. And Katelyn, I’m with you. That clown is reeaaaallly creepy.
I’m so excited. MEDIUM is back!!! Could this day GET any better??

I haven’t seen the Today show yet, so I don’t know, but it does sound like they’re making stuff up.
That was just rude, hanging up on her like that. And that mean DA is back.
Poor Allison. Nobody will listen to her. And Scanlon is reduced to talking to schoolkids.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:12 pm
Poor Joe. He looks so desperate. That is so sad.

Jan 7, 2008 at 8:14 pm
And a declined credit card. These guys are having a really bad day.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:15 pm
Aha, so that’s how she came upon Ameritips.
It’s so sad that she has to use a fake name now, even if it is her maiden name. And how sad was that with the credit cards, and she could only afford to leave with one little bag of groceries. That must be so humiliating.

Feel free to go on and on about meeting Patricia Arquette in person. I would.

While the commercial’s on, can I just tell you all how WONDERFUL my buddy Tom is?? Not only did he tell me about Patricia’s appearance in NY, but he totally hooked me up with her! Tom is AWESOME!!!
And Joe is reduced to collecting unemployment. Things are going from bad to worse for them.

Scanlon is playing with puppets. I’d hate his life, too if I were him.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:22 pm
That must be so terrible for Allison to keep having those awful dreams and no one to talk to .
OH, no!!! It’s Deputy Doll. And she’s with Scanlon, darnit!
Scanlon is having a tough time too. Is she telling him to break the rules? Uh-oh, she’s backing him up!!

Scottsdale Fashion Square mall is niiiice. That’s one of those places where they check your pedigree before they let you in.
Ariel’s going to be in the Sound of Music!! Good for her.
Teenage jealousy. Remember that? Hannah is so slick!

That is one slightly mean and very determined good friend Ariel has.

That was the first time I have ever screamed out loud watching this show.
This is getting realllly good!

Jan 7, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Katelyn, I’ll tell you more about Patricia later, but I don’t want to rub it in. But let me just say, it was all that I could hoped for and THEN SOME. She is so amazing!! She’s absolutely STUNNING in person!! Cameras do not do her justice. And she is the sweetest person I have ever met. Remember how excited I was when I met Thomas and David last year? Well, multiply that by 100 and you have some idea of how excited I was today.

Kind of like an after school project. Go, Lee.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:33 pm
Afterschool project.
That was a good one. That DA is a jerk.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:34 pm
That DA is looking out for number one, and he’s clearly got bigger plans.
Cross on the green and not in between.
Way to go, Lee.

There’s Anjelica! She’s great! This should be good! I’ve been dying to see her and Patricia on screen together.

Oops! Time for some tough questions.

Good one, Allison.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:40 pm
That’s got to be so hard, having your entire life laid out for the whole world to see. I really feel sorry for Allison.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:44 pm
Uhoh, the new DA might not have the stomach for that job. Haha.
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 8:46 pm
Uhoh, I bet Ariel’s going to give up the part for her.

Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 9:00 pm
Oh, so THAT’s the deal they made!!
She may turn out to be a real friend to Allison.
MAN, the previews for the next look even better than this one, if that’s possible! I can’t wait for that one. Allison becoming a “medium for hire”. I didn’t see that one coming.

Everyone take care and see you next Monday.

You know toward the end, I thought, oh no a cliff hanger, but they tied up sooooo well in the last couple of minutes. Truly one of the best episodes I have seen.

Jan 7, 2008 at 9:09 pm
You know Dawn, I still can’t relate Patricia’s voice today when she spoke to us, to her voice in the show. Its like night and day. Unless of course I was only imagining what I heard today. lol
Dawn
Jan 7, 2008 at 9:19 pm
I know what you mean, Tom. Listening to her in person was so totally different than on screen. If I ever have to suffer auditory hallucinations, I want her voice to be the one I hear. I’ve heard a lot of people talk about Brenda Strong’s voice (the voiceover on Desperate Housewives) but after hearing Patricia’s voice in person, I think hers is much more beautiful. And her!! Oh, my GOD, she is STUNNING in person. Words cannot describe how beautiful she is up close. Cameras really do not do her justice. And don’t you just love the way she’s wearing her hair now!!
Lena, I agree that this episode was fantastic. This was one of those stories that the Medium writers really excel at, and that is balancing the crime story with the family dynamic. And I loved how the brought the Ariel story to a close, while at the same time wrapping up the crime story. Beautifully done. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next.

Oh, hey guys! I missed all the chatter, but it’s all I can do to balance watching the episode WITH my kids running around. The computer chat would be a little much for my patience.
Anyway, I just wanted to put in my two cents. I LOVED this episode and I’m so glad to have the show back. I feel complete! It was so sad about that poor boy. That must have been a terrible way to go…slowly. Also, wasn’t the effect with the music “My Favorite Things” in between the different scenes as the mystery unfolded great? I thought that was very creative. I’m going to really love these next seven weeks (that’s all they shot before the strike happened–8 eps). Hopefully I’ll join you all next week. Unitl then…

The interviews with the fans took place at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood; wish I’d been there that day! West Coast chiming in! What a great ep! GGC wrote it, so that’s no big surprise. And since Dep Doll was in it and STILL with Scanlon, also not a big surprise. Geez, she stinks.
Loved this one; nice tie-in with last season’s ending. Quick Draw McGraw, a.k.a. Lee Scanlon, was wonderful, of course. Nice to feature him so much; don’t relegate him back to the background now! $240 a week for Unemployment for someone like Joe?! WHAT?! Is that considered a decent amount of money in Arizona?! I hardly think so, but then again, my unemployment isn’t much better. Course, I’m not a rocket scientist.
Ariel in HS? She’s gonna be a handful!
Anjelica was fab. Everybody was fab. LOVED IT. So happy to have Medium back! Woo-hoo! I’ll take a glass of bubbly, too…

Tom and Dawn,
I am SO HAPPY for the both of you! It is nice to see other fans of Patricia’s have been able to meet her, and feel the same way I do!
See, didn’t I tell you all she is much more strikingly beautiful in person, her eyes are so green, and she was the sweetest thing?
I should have asked you to tell her ‘Hi’ for me too, if I had only known you were going…
I am so happy for you guys!!!
Dawn
Jan 8, 2008 at 9:02 am
Thanks , Michael. Yes, you were so right. Everything you said about her was so true, but ti still did not prepare me for the full impact of meeting her myself. She just glows with this luminescence that is almost blinding, she is so beautiful. I hate to keep saying that because it cannot begin to describe just how gorgeous she really is, but there are just no more words that are adequate. I’m still stunned speechless.
And I have to ask everybody. Was this not one of the creepiest episodes they have done yet? And did anybody else scream when Scanlon found the little boy? I did.
Wow. That ep was so fantastic, but it left me drained after watching it. I love that kind of show though, that gets you so involved that you lose track of everything, and you are physically worn out by the time it’s over. I can understand now how the actors can get so worn out just filming that stuff. It’s no wonder Patricia got so sick last season. That must have been so exhausting, both physically and mentally, for her. Another great ep. I loved this one. What a way to start off the new season. Wow!!

I felt silly going on and on about her beauty as well (do those green eyes sparkle or what???), but all of us at the TV festival were in awe when she was hanging out with us.
I am glad you had a great experience, next time I would love to take a trip to NYC to meet her at something like that. It sounds semi-personal and fun. =)
I should have had you aks her if her ‘Beyond Rangoon’ DVD works that i gave her! =)
Last night’s show was great. I am very excited for more of Allison’s friend, and was creeped out (and screamed), when I saw the little boy in the box. Yikes!
Again, lets see some posted pictures from meeting Patricia!!!
Holly
Jan 8, 2008 at 1:55 pm
Dawn and Tom, I am so jealous! It sounds wonderful. She’s so beautiful on television and pictures, I can’t even imagine what she would be like in person.
Wasn’t that a great ep? I watched it in bed and then could not go to sleep afterwards. I was just too excited. They did a nice job balancing the crime and the family stories. There were some great lines. It was fun to watch all the way through, and at times scary. That’s my kind of Medium episode.
The whole money issue was sad. I hope they can get beck on their feet soon. Also, I was surprised to see that Ariel is a freshman. I don’t know many freshmen as mature as she is, though. Perhaps a few, but not many.
Next week looks even better…and the wait until Monday starts again.
Betty
Jan 8, 2008 at 3:10 pm
OMG! Let me count the ways I loved this ep! Scanlon, Scanlon, Scanlon, so nice to see a more Scanloncentric episode for a change! I did think Scanlon was being a bit too mean to Allison, but I guess if I was in his shoes - a guy doing his job to the best of his ability and having done absolutely nothing wrong but be associated with Allison - perhaps I would want to keep my distance, at least for a while until I calmed down. That was pretty rough on him and that stupid teacher didn’t even know how to pronounce his name!
Here’s an interesting bit of trivia - Patricia Arquette was one of the stars of a movie called “Goodbye Lover” a few years back and her character sang that song from Sound of Music all the time! Bet that was a bit of nice GGC work.
Yes, Katelyn, I agree that clown was VERY CREEPY! I’ll never look at clowns the same way again.
Joe, so funny - should have had a boy!
“This is no good” God Bless Marie!
Don’t you just love Bridgette? “Must be tough looking like you” she says to Ariel!
At least they didn’t make Scanlon put on a uniform again.
How disinterested was that guy in the unemployment office? Jerk.
Wow, that is SO EMBARRASSING when your credit card doesn’t work and having to put back the groceries. Can’t fit much in one bag nowadays.
Joe, “Hey I just got $240 a week we can blow any way we want too!”
Unfortunately, Deputy Doll is still one of the worst actresses on television. At least her character is being supportive of Lee. Anyone else notice those people talking to the new DA were the same ones who talked to DiNovi about her political aspirations? “Make it your case” gee, DD where was that resolve when they were talking to you about running for office and you were ready to keep your relationship with Scanlon a big fat secret? “Let me handle the new DA” you go girl!
OK, anyone else find it odd that Scanlon was talking to very young kids, maybe kindergarten or 1st grade, but they wanted him to use the puppets for the older kids???? That doesn’t make sense, seems like you’d use the puppets for the smaller ones.
Well, if I was in HS, I’d want Hannah on my side! Didn’t anyone think that girl who played the sophomore looked a lot older than high school?
Scanlon at the toy store - yep, dripping blood in never a good sign. Why didn’t Scanlon think of rat poison? First thing I thought about. Horrible sight - that would give me nightmares - wonder how he copes?
How heartbreaking was the boy’s Mom and her dream of having him lay his head on her chest? she played that scene so beautifully. How sad - how would you ever get over that? I don’t know I would appreciate the DA holding the information back for the sake of holding it so he could have a better headline - I think I would want to know right away - no amount of waiting would make it any better - sure catching the guy would be good, but my child would still be dead.
I’m a bit surprised Scanlon is playing the DA’s game, but I guess he’s pretty desperate to be a real policeman again. Might as well use the guy when you can. “Can I sleep on it?” “Walking on Green” Scanlon you are too funny!!
Didn’t you love Joe’s converstaion with Mom?
“You are one of the cruelest people I’ve ever met?” That’s a bit harsh, don’t you think?
Scanlon, Scanlon, Scanlon - how many times are you going to doubt Allison? I love you man, but you’ve GOT TO GET OVER THAT! I think it was interesting that when Scanlon and Allison first met and Allison agreed with him about his sister and the others being murdered and he asked her if she found a fiber or some other evidence - interesting that the DA asked Lee the same question now….get it Lee?
Well, even though Lee and DiNovi are still together, at least we didn’t have to witness a love scene, a kiss, or any other close behavior between them. Too bad though that Lee was fully clothed the whole time.
How great was the juxtaposition of that song with the different scenes? I just love the tough Scanlon - he has such a guy walk, too - but did he really need to unload his gun in the guy? Sure I’d like that guy to be dead, too, but I think the first 3 bullets would have done the trick! I just love tough Scanlon!
Scanlon - “Van Dyke’s an idiot”
Allison, “So they’re making snow balls in hell now?”
$2500 check to Allison - WOW! Not bad for her dreams.
What a terrific episode! I can’t wait to see the ratings - I hope they were through the roof!
Tom, Dawn, can’t wait to hear your details about meeting Patricia!
Dawn
Jan 8, 2008 at 4:14 pm
Betty, I thought you’d love this ep. But was that you I heard screaming when DiNovi showed up with Scanlon?? Lol!
Just thought I’d share this tidbit with you guys. Fast national ratings for last night were really good for Medium. It scored 9.57 million viewers with a 3.3/ and 8.8 million viewers in the demo. Which are incredible numbers when you look at a few things:
At the end of season, Medium was averaging about 5-6 million viewers (7 on a good night), with a 2.7 average in the demo(which equates to about 4-5 million in the demo). (I’m rounding off here.
Medium premiered on a new night, with pretty good promotion, and was led in by American Gladiators and Deal or No Deal.
It premiered against not only live football, but the national championship game, so these numbers are actually amazing. Let’s just hope that they can keep it up. It shouldn’t be too hard when the other nets go back to reruns or reality programming. And actually those numbers are higher than Medium has seen since it premiered in November of 2006. Once Lost returned to Wed. nights, Medium’s ratings plummeted and barely stayed above 5 million some weeks. So this is very encouraging, especially if the strike is resolved soon and they start planning for next season. I just hope the strike is resolved so we can see more Medium this season. If last night’s episode was any indicator of what they have in store, then all I can say is Everybody hold on tight!!
Betty
Jan 8, 2008 at 4:48 pm
Bad football, bad! Stealing Medium’s return to Monday glory that way! I bet the ratings next week will be even better! October Road is faltering, actually I’m not sure it ever had big numbers, and CSI Miami is in repeats. Shouldn’t be any more football next week, so Medium’s numbers should go up.
Did y’a'll hear that NBC cancelled the Golden Globes telecast? They are just going to have a press conference where they announce the winners. That’s a real bummer for all of the people who this would have been their first award’s show ever, and of course for all of the people who are out of work because of this.
Rachel, any news on writer’s talks? Nothing is going to get resolved until both sides get back together and start talking to each other.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the strike will get solved soon because the way this season started, it would be a crying shame to only have 9 eps total.
Rachel
Jan 8, 2008 at 8:36 pm
Betty, hate to tell ya girl, but even if they come to an agreement this week, by the time they actually get back to work and write something, it will take upwards of two months to get filming again. I have a friend who works on “Mad Men”, and she was told by her boss, the designer, that they’ll be back to work 11 weeks after the strike resolution. So cats and kittens, this will be a short season for all new shows. But, maybe that will just mean a longer season next fall, for all returning shows. Who knows.
Both sides are still holding out, and no one I know knows when talks are resuming. It’s quiet here. TOO quiet. Sucks, man. ‘Cause being a Scanlon fan like you Betts, I was so happy to have seen so much of him this episode. But worries me he’ll be secondary yet again in future eps, like last season.
I’m so over this strike BS, I’ve starting looking into a career change, and even have a job interview Thursday. The reality of this industry has left me cold and heartbroken. Not the fun I was invisioning for myself!
So, enjoy what the season is; short but sweet. It looks to be very exciting for the Dubois family and Manny and Lee. (I’d love to be proven wrong, but I have little hope.)

I could not bring myself to log on last night for Open Mic. Missed you guys! I curled up in bed with the remote instead. Ten PM slot on Monday night again for the show! Yay!
Like Tom, I thought they could not possibly wrap things up at the end. It was, like, 10:57 before the murdered even entered through the roll-up door! Sheesh. Get me all in a twist.
I must say the side story with Ariel was a tad distracting. I guess they needed a setup for the singing at the end intermixed with the big shootout (which was pretty fabulous) but it just made me want to say, “I LEFT THE ANGST OF HIGH SCHOOL BEHIND ME YEARS AGO. STOP THE INSANITY AND GET BACK TO MURDER AND MAYHEM.”
Though I did miss Bridgette. What did we get? A little bit of peanut butter-covered Bridge, and that was about it. ::sigh::
Something else I am almost afraid to say out loud: Deputy Doll did not annoy me as much as usual this episode. *cringe* I know! What’s up with that? Is it that they doled out her screen time so she was not on long enough to annoy? Is it because she was so darn supportive of our favorite hunk-a hunk-a burnin’ love, Scanlon, that I feel compelled to try to like her? Or is she getting more comfortable in her acting skin so she is more natural on screen?
I am just so glad Medium is back. Yay. *sniff* Yay!
Betty
Jan 10, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Rachel, sorry for you and being disillusioned, but you are very young and the fact is, life can be disillusioning many times. Who knows, you may find the career change is just the right move for you - you may find you really like doing something different - or perhaps it will leave you time to pursue other avenues during your time off.
Sheila - I think the deal with Deputy Doll is the fact they wrote her character as being very helpful and supportive for a change - usually she is always written as such a *itch! Sadly, I don’t think she’s grown at all as an actress, but at least she is supporting her man for a change and not just thinking about number one as her character. It makes her far more likeable and thank GOD we didn’t have to see her kissing, hugging, or awkwardly making love with Scanlon. I think David would have chemistry with a phone poll, but Mrs GGC isn’t growing as an actress.
Brett, you big hairy boy, where is your review of Medium this season? I went to TV Squad looking for one of your fabulous reviews and there was none. What’s up?
Rachel
Jan 10, 2008 at 1:55 pm
Betty, thank you so much for thinking me young!! (In my forties, ya know.)
And something has changed with Dep Doll; did she drop her bid for a seat on the City Council? Is she still running? Those folks with the new DA were her political pushers, but now his. Kinda funny, really. But has her love of Scanlon driven her back into the world of human being-ism? (Or is that ‘being-ness’…?) I know she’s Mrs. GGC (only reason why she’s on the show), but why the change of character, I wonder? I was cringing the whole episode waiting for those two to have any affection between them, and like you Betty, I was SO happy to have seen nothing but dialogue! Keep that up, GGC!

Rachel, have you had your interview yet? How did it go? Ha ha! on the age - you know what they say, “you are only as old as you feel”! I may be a grandma, but I don’t feel like a grandma age-wise. OK, there are some days I feel 80, but mentally, I don’t think of myself as old and most people who meet me in person are shocked when I tell them I have grandkids or kids in their 20’s - I actually had a 25 year old hitting on me a couple of times! Too funny! He told me he needed a “real woman” and I told him I didn’t think he needed one THIS REAL! Ha!
Maybe GGC is trying to get us to like his wife more since I have rarely read anything but negative stuff about her, so I know it’s not just me. The best thing he could do for her is have her go try out for a soap and take some acting classes. She is just outclassed on this show by the many fine actors and guest stars. The way they played her last year, I was expecting her to leave Scanlon again because she wouldn’t want his problems to drag her political aspirations down. We’ll see how the short season develops.

Well, you all know that I really didn’t have a probelm with Deputy Doll or her acting last season or before (you can all tell me how I’m wrong later). She has simply played the role as a reserved character that is afraid to show much emotion.
This episode was an interesting change. It seems that all of the problems that started at the end of last season have knocked her character into her senses. Now, because of all the stress and changes, she is falling back on Scanlon and finally coming to terms about how she really feels. That’s why she seems so supportive now as compared to how she was.
I will admit that she’s not the best actor on the show, but I would not call her bad at it. I’m excited to see this story fold out!
And yes, I don’t thinks she’s running for City Council anymore. I could be wrong, though.

Betty, the age thing is all mental in my book; you ARE only as old as you feel! These days, I’m feelin’ creaky… The interview went okay, but I’m too overqualified and they won’t pay well, IF they offer anything anyway. It was at least a start to be looking, and practice in interviewing skills, or lack thereof! Thanks so much for asking. I’ll keep you posted…
Back to age, I’ve had a few really young pups lately sending me winks at the dating sites. Kinda makes me laugh and feel creeped out all at once! One man told me women my age are real trophies to the youngsters. HA! I’m a trophy! Well, gild my butt and put me on a mantle!
And I agree; send Tina to the soaps! She’d be perfect for those! Don’t know if she’d learn anything, but she wouldn’t be on Medium! I give you props Holly for being her only fan on this site; you got moxie, kid.

I think Holly may be her only fan, period! Ha! Other than her husband. I mean no disrespect to the woman personally - I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m sure she is a lovely person in real life and has many talents - acting isn’t one of them!
At least soaps usually have acting coaches because they often hire someone for their looks adn not necessarily their talent, but they have so many lines and so many scenes, it’s a great place to learn. Right now All My Children has a couple of children that are just dynamite and they are like 4 and 5 but still deliver their lines more convincingly than Deputy Doll!
Rachel, you are tooooo funny! I have this part-time job in a bar and all these men tell me I’m beautiful and then this one guy asks me, “has anyone ever told you that you are beautiful?” I answer, “yes”! Actually, I always want to say, “yes, and after you’ve had a few more beers I’ll be Miss America!” Where’s the originality?
Truth be told, at least every other week someone tells me I’m beautiful and about once a month I get a marriage proposal! All ages. One guy didn’t even speak English and had this other guy translate for him! Yep, I could right a book about the people who come in and out of there.
As they say, “you can’t make this stuff up!”

Oops, that should be “write” a book - guess my fingers and brain weren’t communicating there.

Well, Betty, if you need any contributors, let me know! My dating site experiences usually keep my friends in stitches! One friend has told me to do stand-up, LOL!!! At least with him I know I’ll get a laugh! (You’re funny, too!)
No offers yet, no new jobs yet. If I had more experience as a draper, I could be working on a movie right now; one that’s non-union, which is what I am. But, oh well, I’m not the right person for the job, so I turned it down. And since there’s the strike, there’s no opportunity for re-writes during filming, which doesn’t bode well. Makes me curious how THAT will go; I’m thinking once everything is filmed, it’s put on hold until reshoots can be done after any rewrites. Just guessing. (I’m bored. I guess alot!)
Can’t wait for the next episode! Three more days…
