by Katelyn on February 15th, 2008

Allison is concernedOkay, Dawn asked for some previews of “Do You Hear What I Hear” which airs (finally) on Monday February 18th on NBC and I went hunting to see what I could find. She mentioned that TV.com has several nice clips up. They are really nice quality and very suspenseful. I can’t wait to see the whole episode.

Here are some screenshots I took for you:

    Katelyn, thanks for that clip!

It’s so nice to hear all these people in the industry that have so much respect for the actors on Medium. Too bad it took this strike to get TV Guide to sit up and take notice and do a feature article on Medium in this week’s (Feb 18 to 24) issue. Too bad they don’t treat it like Heroes - it would have an article every week.
Looks like another terrific episode. I’m so glad the writers are back at work.

Thanks for that, Katelyn. Wasn’t trying to pressure you or anything. I just thought everyone would like to see what the episode looked like and what’s in store. It looks really good.

I’m with Betty about TV Guide. It’s a shame that it took the strike for them to notice Medium. But I have noticed that since the strike ended, they’re right back to touting “Lost” and “Grey’s Anatomy” again, like they’re the greatest thing since “I Love Lucy”. Personally, if that were all that was on television, and I had nothing else to choose from, I would sit through my entire collection of “I Love Lucy” dvds before I would watch that.

Oh, wait! I did! Lol! Well, not all seven seasons, but most of them. And my Medium dvds have been lifesavers too. So what kept you going during the strike?

    Dawn,
No pressure felt! That’s what I’m here for.

Hey, guys, in case you missed it, NBC has another video up with David and Patricia Arquette talking about working together again. It’s pretty cute.
Also I found this article on TVGuide Online with Anjelica Huston talking about her stint on Medium. She says some really nice things about Patricia and the rest of the cast and crew and she drops a few hints about her character. If you’re interested, here it is.

Thanks Dawn! That was a great article at TV Guide. It’s so nice to hear someone like Anjelica Huston say she has so much respect for Patricia Arquette. I thought she put that TV Guide man in his place while he was trying to infer Patricia “runs the set” like she was some sort of horrible diva.

Lol, Betty! I thought that was great too. But did you notice the kind of snotty way he opened the interview, like “what are YOU doing on a show like THIS?” as if it were beneath her. That’s something that Patricia has oftened commented on, the way some people look down their noses at television actors, as if they are inferior. But I like the way she put him in his place about that too. It was really nice to hear her say such nice things about Patricia too, and to hear that Patricia is so well-respected by her peers, no matter what the critics and the television (and film) snobs say about her. I kind of suspected that Patricia would be a motherly type on the set and run it like a family.

She does raise some interesting points about her character though. I have an idea what she means, but I don’t want to say because I may be way off base. It’ll be interesting to see how that develops.

Hey Everyone! I watched the espoide about the Deaf girl and I was disappointed with the part when she was in the cabin room and she was signing and the camera was not lower enough for the deaf viewers to read what the girl was saying. and the Camera was only show half of it. I cant read it. Thats very disaapointed. the rest of the show was okay. I was not thrilled some of the espodies . Maria Lark was so cute she was tried to sign to Allison but Allison was lost . I guess I cant say more because I do not want to offend anyone who love that show so much. Im sorry Im deaf and I know down deep how I felt.
    Thanks
