Medium Episode 4.07 “Burn Baby Burn” Teaser
Burn, Baby Burn part one airs March 10th. The episode begins with Joe’s mom coming to visit. Allison worries that it is all about her until she discovers that Marjorie (played, as always, by Kathy Baker) is actually there because she has a serious health issue and doesn’t want Joe to know. Of course, mayhem and murder are everywhere, with Cynthia worrying over an open case, Ariel having a psychic experience she doesn’t want (How do you break the news to a classmate that her mom is going to die?) and Allison, Devalos and Lee (Together again! Hooray!) coming together over an arson that ended in murder.
Part two of Burn Baby Burn (Episode 4.08) airs March 17th.

OMG! Allison, Devalos, and Lee together again! I can hardly wait to see that! I hope this is the beginning of them being together all the time.

I think it will be, Betty. This Cynthia Keener storyline is only for a few more eps, and by then, I’m betting Devalos will be back in his old job as DA and he and Scanlon will be working with Allison, albeit secretly. I would kind of like to see her relationship with Keener continue (after all, if she isn’t getting paid by the DA’s office, she’s gotta make money somehow). Then they could bring Anjelica Huston back from time to time (that is, assuming they leave the door open at the end of her arc for her to return) and she and Allison could continue to work together part-time.
This ep sounds interesting. It’s nice to see them doing more multiple episode storylines. It really does suit this show so well, and this one with Joe’s mom sounds like it should be a doozy. And what a predicament for Ariel! Wow!

Does anyone know who the girl is playing the runaway that gets picked up and the dentist goes to town on? She is so familiar, it is driving me nuts and IMDB doesn’t have a full cast listing. I keep imaging her on a series where she was in 70’s clothes and playing a sweet girl. Can’t figure it out.

Marci, I too wondered who she was. It took me all day to remember, but I’m pretty sure she’s Natalia Baron, who was on Veronica Mars, season one, in the episode M.A.D.

EMB! I think you are absolutely right. And if you’re not right, that is exactly who I was thinking of, but couldn’t place. I went through everything last night trying to figure it out; IMDB, then I thought it was Dazed and Confused, and so on. Just goes to show how stuck in my head those things can get. Thank you for chiming in!!
