Medium Episode 4.08 Burn Baby Burn Part II Recap
Well, although most of us were pretty sure the girl in the dentist chair was the burned body, it was still fun to watch the ending of Burn Baby Burn.
Paula Paige thought the second half wasn’t as good, but still enjoyed a few parts, especially the scene where Allison is caught between Scanlon and Devalos and the scene where Joe and his mom have a mother son moment.
Paul from TVSquad thinks Devalos is becoming a whiner and Van Dyke needs to pack up his bags and get out of town. I have to say I agree about Van Dyke. However, having a tendency to gripe about things that are blatantly unfair myself, I will not comment about Devalos, except to say that at least he isn’t breaking down and crying when he sees his old, comfy office.
One thing he didn’t get was why Devalos went on and on spelling out the crime instead of producing a very live woman. I thought it was obvious myself. Devalos wanted to make Van Dyke feel like an absolute idiot and a surprise reveal without all the before evidence just wouldn’t have made Van Dyke look quite so foolish.

I did enjoy a number of things about this episode even though a lot of it was not plausible, the good stuff outweighed the bad.
One good thing, we only had to see Deputy Doll sleeping! Yea! You think GGC finally got the message we can’t stand her? At least we were spared her poor acting skills in this ep.
Personally, I am bummed about the fact that Scanlon seems to be wearing more and more clothing to bed lately. What’s up with that? He dresses like he lives in Alaska and not Phoenix! Ha!
