Medium Episode 4.09 “Wicked Games Part 1″ Teaser
Wicked Games part one airs on March 24th and reveals the reason Cynthia is so intense and sometimes downright rude when she investigates missing children. Allison dreams about Cynthia’s own tragic past - the disappearance of her daughter, Suzie almost 10 years before. Bridgette is working on a science project and somehow it causes tension for Joe and Allison after he is inspired by Bridgette’s work. (How can a science project create relationship problems? This, I have to see!)
By the way, remember Everwood? Sarah Drew, who was Hannah Rogers, plays one of the missing girls in this episode. We get to see David Cubitt and Miguel Sandoval in this episode, too.

WOW!! TWO two-parters back-to-back!!! That’s very unusual for the Medium gang to do that. I guess after the Walter Paxton storyline and the PTSD storyline with Joe last season, they discovered that they can do multi-episode story arcs and that they really do work well on this show. I love the stand-alone eppys, but the multi-ep arcs are fun too.
And this one does sound interesting. I’m with you, Katelyn. How does a science project cause tension in a marriage? I wanna see that too. Lol!
We’re FINALLY getting some backstory on Cynthia Keener, yay!! GGC said recently that fans would be shocked at where they went with her character, so I’m curious to see just where this does go.

I have suspected all along that Cynthia Keener probably got involved because of a missing family member. It’s not that uncommon - after all that’s how MADD got started. America’s Most Wanted got started out of John Walsh’s own tragedy of his murdered six year old son, Adam.
I think it makes for more realism having some multi-part eps because it always seems suspect when murders are neatly wrapped up in 1 hour. So many missing person cases or murders take years to solve.
I’m excited about having Allison, Devalos, and Scanlon back together again! Yippee!
Poor Ariel - this is what happened to her before - just like Allison - no one asks for this type of trauma to come into your life everyday, but how they use this info to help others is what makes it worth it. You know what they say, “God will never give you more than you can handle”. Special people are chosen and I know some days even special people feel like, “why me?” But untilmately, God knows what he’s doing.

Oops I meant to say that MADD was started, not because of a missing person, but because of one mother’s experience of losing a child to a drunk driver.

WOW!! I loved last night’s episode of Medium!! I was shocked. What ever happened to “Cynthia Keener” I wonder how we can find out. I guess she’s in jail.
