Medium Episode 4.10 “Wicked Game” Part II Open Mic
Tonight is the end of the two part Wicked Game episode. Since the previews showed that the two girl kidnap scenario was all a set up with the one girl in on the whole sick game, I thought we should drink something that seemed a bit sneaky and poisonous.
Here’s the recipe for Scorpions:
2 jiggers light Rum
1 jigger Passion Fruit Syrup
3 ounces of crushed ice
Champagne
Toss the rum, passion fruit syrup and ice into the blender until smooth. Put the mixture into a glass and add Champagne.

Ooh, that drink sounds delicious, Katelyn. Save one for me and I’ll have it when I get home. What’ll we have to eat with it? How about something sweet and decadent? I’ll bring Pepperidge Farm mint Milano cookies. Yummm!
I can’t wait to see this one, though I have to admit that I’m probably gonna miss Cynthia Keener a little bit. I was just getting used to her, and kind of even starting to like her a little bit, so it’ll be a little bit bittersweet to see her go. But this episode sounds like it’s going to be a humdinger from everything I’ve heard about it. And if what I suspect is going to happen does happen, we’re all in for a HUGE shocker tonight. I can’t wait to see this.
I really hope the ratings are up this week, because NBC is announcing their 2008-09 lineup this week and rumor has it that they still haven’t made a decision about Medium. A lot of people are saying that it’s a sure bet to return, but I’ll believe it when NBC says it is. Fingers crossed, everybody.

Oh, just FYI for everybody. Patricia Arquette is scheduled to be on the Ellen Degeneres show NEXT Monday, April 7th (which also happens to be the day Rosanna is appearing on Medium- and the day before Patricia’s birthday). Check it out. Ellen is always fun.

Hehe, medium was really good. I thought you guys knew… Medium was showing YESTERDAY. Me and my mom noticed it at the last second, 6 minutes before it started. This time my mom found out what happened 20 minutes before the show ended. I hope you all have fun, this one is a good one. And synthia… Aw, just… Words can’t describe what I feel for our addams-family-Morticia-Medium-Investigator.

WOW!!! What a great episode!! And what an ending to Cynthia Keener’s storyline! Man! That was amazing. Just when you think the Medium writers can’t get get any better, they come up with something like this. Wow, I am still stunned by that one. And the ending! Oh, my God! I was sitting in my chair, shocked, with tears rolling down my face. That was fantastic!
And Joe’s new “career”. Hahaha! He’s going to be a professional “bank-faller”, lol!!! Hilarious!!
This ep was unbelievable. I’m going to have to watch it again before I say anything else, because I’m still trying to process it it was so good.
Next week looks awesome too. Can’t wait for that.

You know, I can’t help but feel sorry for Cynthia. And to top it off, she has no proof to sugar coat her case at all and she’s going to be busted without anyone knowing the truth (at least, any proof of her story). As annoying as she could be, I was just begining to have some empathy for her and her plight. I was starting to understand why she ticks the way she does. Poor woman. But I must hand it to the writers, they did a spectacular job. I was really curious how they were going to get Cynthia out of the picture.

In a way, I feel very sorry for Cynthia and kind of wish she would just go in and wipe the gun clean and wipe down any other area her fingerprints would be in and then walk away and say she found her just like that.
I was at work when this started, and although it was a very dead night, SOMEONE always has to talk just when the important stuff comes on - have you noticed that? No one ever wants to talk to you during the commercial. I need to go and watch Part 1 and 2 together now because I had to watch Part 1 the same way.
Punch sounds VERY interesting.

According to Zapt2it. com, Medium had terrific ratings last night! Going against CSI Miami with a 10.0 rating, Medium still came in at 6.2/10 which was fantastic! DorND had a 6.3/9, so Medium kept almost the whole audience from its lead-in. This is a very strong showing for Medium! Some of the best numbers of anything on NBC’s schedule, that’s for sure.
Maria, yes, someone pointed that out in a previous season, but that is a great inside joke!

This is what my mom thinks…
She thinks that this is Cynthia’s write off, off of the show. That since Devalos is now a defense attorney, that he’s going to be defending Cynthia. What do you guys think? It sounds plausible, but I just think it really is Cynthia’s time to head off the show. Joe’s new invention, Devalos back in business… Cynthia isn’t really needed anymore, she had her time, Allison solved her daughters crime. There’s no other reason Cynthia really stuck in Phoenix other than that.

Angelica Huston IS off the show! It was her swan song. I read last November that she was hired to do six shows, so it was always planned that way. She is such a major star, they probably could not afford her long-term. Also, I like Allison running her own show, don’t you all?

Oh, I agree for sure. Medium is about a medium… I sometimes miss the good old days when it was all about Allison. Though, now that her secrets out, the shows getting more publicity, etc… I think there should be some episodes about the different characters. Though, I do really like the new approach where it’s not all about Allison. :)
