Medium Episode 4.11 “Lady Killer” Open Mic
Oh, I have been waiting for this one. Rosanna Arquette is playing Michelle Todd, a very bad lady. It sounds sooo good.
Remember, this is the episode that Patricia and Rosanna said was so fun to do that they forgot they were acting.
I have the perfect drink, too, but I forgot to bring the recipe with me. I’ll have to give it to you when I get home from work at 9:35. Cutting it close, aren’t I?
Anyway, I also have hot wings and barbeque hot wings. If you don’t like them, there’s a bunch of celery and blue cheese dressing. Usually, that means the hot wings are too hot for me to handle, so I’m sticking with barbeque.
I also have hot fudge sundaes. There are plenty of toppings, so go ahead and fix yours up with plenty of extras.

Ooh, sounds delish, Katelyn! I don’t know what I can bring to go with that. I’ll have to think of something. I’m dying to see this episode. It looks sooooo good! NBC has a couple of really great featurette vidoes up on the Medium page with Patricia and Rosanna talking about working together that are great. They looked like they were having such an awesome time and so much fun together. In one of the videos, David Cubitt (who I think was kind of crushing on Rosanna ;) ) had some really cute things to say about watching them having fun together. If you haven’t seen them, it’s a great teaser to fill the time until the show starts. Me, I just can’t wait to get home tonight and see this one!

Here’s the recipe for the cocktail:
Tempter Cocktail
1 ounce Port wine
1 ounce Apricot Brandy
Crack ice and pour the ingredients into the shaker. Do a Bond and make this one shaken, not stirred. Pour off the liquid into a cocktail glass and drink away.

Allison: Actually, she was behaving just like a man.
Joe: Okay. Sorry I asked.

I bet his intuition doesn’t work well. Devalos is back, I think!

What are kids for if not to be used for excuses to get out of things?
Uh, oh. They are going to feel really bad when Marie’s earache gets bad. (I assume that’s why she was yanking on her ear.)

I think there’s a dead bar tender in Allison’s future dreams.

Hello Everyone!
This will be a good one. Looks like some exposure for Allison. Joe looks so good. Hot episode don’t you think?
And I’m in a martini mood too.

Lee “I want to see that movie.”
I should be grateful I’m not out there on the prowl anymore.”
Allison “Relax, Stud. You’re about 10 years too old.”

Brig trying to get Allison to take her grumpy hubby, too was cute.

You know, I have a problem with the ending.
No one approaches people in an empty elevator like that. Especially males. How does the the publisher know who is gay or straight? I’ve heard of being forward but d**n!

Even with that-I enjoyed the show!
Bye Katelyn, see you next week.

WOW!! That was great! And what a twist at the end! I totally did not see that one coming. But I disagree, Lena. I wasn’t surprised to see him approach Lee in the elevator. I’ve been approached in elevators before, as well as in Wal-Mart shopping, if you can believe that! But it did shock me to see that it was a man using pickup techniques that were being written for women. That blew me away! I really wasn’t expecting that. But you gotta love Scanlon! He is hilarious, and I just love the way he and Allison kid one another! Her “Relax, stud.” was just priceless.
Rosanna was fantastic in this one. She actually did look like she was having fun in the scenes when she was killing the guys, didn’t she? Guess that shows how good of an actress she is, cause she said those scenes made her sick while doing them.
My favorite part had to be when Devalos turned the tables on Van Dyke. LOL!! That was the funniest thing when Van Dyke was in his office pitching a fit because he’d been outsmarted. Allison torpedoed him again!! HAHA!!
This was another FANTASTIC episode!! They just keep getting better. And next week, Edward Cooper is back. That looks VERY promising!!

WOW!! Medium’s ratings this week are great.
10.72M viewers and a 3.4 in the demo!! That’s fantastic! Maybe that will convince NBC that Medium deserves to be on Mondays next season. These are the best numbers it’s had since season 2, at least. And that’s with virtually no promotion from NBC.

Medium was up against “March Madness” basketball - question - this is April, so why do we still have March Madness going on?
Funny, funny stuff on Scanlon’s part. That was hysterical watching Scanlon in the elevator with the guy! Some really funny lines - I actually couldn’t believe Mr “There’s nothing strange about exotic women in his life” saying, “At my age, no one approaches me about anything” not verbatim, but the jist of what he said!
Gotta love Bridgette. No Ariel again this ep.
Another plus with this ep - no Deputy Doll!
Anyone else care to join me in a chorus of “nanny, nanny, boo, boo” aimed at Van Dyke? Ha!
Katelyn, you make the best snacks!

Wow! You what is fantastic? Medium actually rated HIGHER than Deal or No Deal last night!!!!
That was up against a championship basketball game!
NBC, you dweebs need to put Medium on Monday night and keep it there! Why make Medium wait to come back until January again?
OK, everyone, let’s start our writing campaign and let NBC know how we feel - stop treating Medium like the red-headed step-child already!

I’ve been out of circulation for awhile, but now I’m back! Gotta catch-up on the last few episodes, but actually got to see this one. Fabulous! So funny, so well written and love the twists that Medium is famous for. And Scanlon heavy; awesome! I’m rootin’ for Devalos to take down his old friend and regain his rightful place as the DA. Am loving it all! And to have Allison so out in the forefront as who she is, no apologies for her gift, is quite refreshing. Nice going! And you’re right, Betty; no Dep Doll to spoil the fun! Yee-haw!

Wow! this episode sure didn’t leave much to the imagination as far as the sex scenes go, did it!? i still thought the show was fabulous. I have to say that this was the first time I’ve ever seen Rosanna act and I was impressed, for sure. They come from such a talented family. Loved it!
By the way, regarding Ariel being MIA…I believe I heard that she is going to be taking a role in a movie that was turned down by Dakota Fanning. Perhaps that has something to do with her absence. I don’t know exactly if the timing is right. Just an idea. Talk to you all next week if I can make it to the computer.

Hey, Betty! Missed you guys, too! Not back at the old job, was at another crappy but paying job, but now back on the dole! D’oh! Oh well, something’s bound to turn up! Still trying to make time to watch the DVR full of recent Mediums in the meantime. Hope you’re well, also!

Rachel, glad you are back and that you didn’t starve in the meantime! I hope things will only come up roses for you from now on!
You know, I can’t even find time to watch my movies from Netflix or re-watch my Medium eps like I used to. This working TWO jobs and trying to keep my yard looking nice is sucking up all my time! I do enjoy my yard, though and have gotten lots of compliments this season. Yes, while I’ve been mowing my yard for the last two months and working in my flower beds, my daughter is still getting snow where she lives!

i have a question..
who was the man, i can’t think of his character’s name in last weeks episode. he was the man in charge of the big construction company. the man who was friends with devalos, who teamed up against him with vandyke?
i recognized his face but couldn’t figure out where i had seen him from. it was something from when he was younger..
any help would be fantastic!!
