Medium Episode 4.11 “Lady Killer” Recaps

by Katelyn on April 11th, 2008

Lady Killer was just fantastic. Rosanna Arquette did such a great job and Patricia had some good scenes. No Ariel again. I guess they’re just not having her do much if they can help it so she doesn’t wear herself out trying to shoot shows and a movie at the same time, but I miss Sofia V., don’t you?

I love the way the episode ended. Such a surprise to have the killer hit on Scanlon, especially when he was glad earlier in the episode that he didn’t have to date because of worries about that happening.

Paula Paige from TV Guide did a terrific job on her recap. It was really amusing to read. I especially loved her comment that “Rosanna Arquette could sell a ten-gallon hat to the headless horseman.” How true.

Paul from TV Squad identifies with Joe - he agrees that kids are a great way to get out of stuff. He didn’t expect the ending at all and liked the episode, but thought Rosanna should look a bit better if we’re supposed to believe she’s 40. I don’t agree with him. She looks fantastic. I’ve seen 40 year olds who look much older than Rosanna’s 49.

Of course, NBC also has a recap.

Paula Paige’s recap was great and I loved “Lady Killers”! I think it’s the best episode thus far this season, and was an nice change from the usual another-young-woman’s-blood-splattered-across-the-wall episode.

I thought Rosanna Arquette was great. That opening scene rocked and her character was very sympathetic once we got to see her speak out-of-dream. I dunno about her looking old at all–I actually was under the impression she was younger than Patricia for some reason.

I figured it was going to be a man from the beginning, but first thought it would be some stalker fan she met at a fan signing, then thought it’d be one of the staff members. When Lee walked in and they were all women, I was surprised. But as the camera followed him out, I figured he’d run into the right guy on the way out. And that last scene was HILARIOUS! I seriously jumped up off of my sofa like a nerd in hysterical laughter when the guy hit on Lee w/ the extra ticket scenario. Lee’s facial expressions were priceless!

I’m with you nansee! I was rolling on the floor with laughter! Scanlon was just so cool!

    Really surprising ending.

Isn’t it funny, this episode showed a guy riddled with nails and no one complained about the “violence”. Talk about some anger issues!

I didn’t see the violence. I shut my eyes. I figured it would be gross looking.
