Medium Episode 4.15 “Being Joey Carmichael” Open Mic
Time to watch Medium Episode 4.15 - Being Joey Carmichael. So, are you ready to see if your vote in the poll was right? Does Joe tell Meghan to take her money and go or does he still keep her on as a partner? Does Allison figure out why she is dreaming about a disabled man?
By the way, if you saw the previews of this episode, you know more than Allison, because you saw that Joey Carmichael is a twin!
Tonight, let’s chow down on homemade ice cream. We have vanilla or strawberry. (The strawberry is made with fresh California strawberries. If they shipped them across to the East coast, are they still really fresh?)
Don’t miss Maria Lark’s funny tour of the studio that is this week’s NBC bonus video:

Yipes. That kid had a chilling smile. If he was my little boy, he’d totally freak me out!

Ick. That was really awful.

Joe obviously rebuffed Meghan. Even physically pushed her away. Go, Joe.

Of course, Allison isn’t very happy, because she can tell he’s hiding something.

Boy, if you lose Joe’s trust, you lose it.

Wow, talk about overkill. So is Teddy posing as Joey?

But Teddy just got shot about a zillion times in the heart. Boy, commercials are long.

All right, love ya.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Keep it to yourself.
That’s what I love- sweet talk.

So, the good twin develop a split personality when his brother died. Whoa. I did not see that coming.

Nope, it was Teddy. Weird name for someone who so is not cuddly, huh?

A cashmere robe. She can’t stop causing trouble.

Wait, next Monday is the season finale? NBC’s site says it is a rerun episode. Well, time will tell.

Sorry I’m late, Katelyn. Just got finished watching this ep, and boy, was it tense! That Meghan is a troublemaker, I tell ya, a troublemaker! That was low for her to buy him the robe after she promised not to cause any more trouble. She’s determined to cause problems for him and Allison. Joe probably should have told Allison about the pass when it happened, but would it have saved trouble later on? I kinda don’t blame him for keeping it to himself, but I can see Al’s point too. But the ending was so sweet when he told her how much she meant to him, and how he could never do anything to jeopardize that. And that hug! How sweet was that??!! I love these two together. Let’s just hope that Meghan doesn’t permanently drive a wedge between them.
That story with Joey and Teddy was interesting. Neat twist with the evil twin possessing the good one to get his revenge, and then taking over his body to do his time in prison. And Al walking into her kitchen in the middle of the night to find Teddy sitting at her table. Scary! That guy was definitely creepy.
So sad that next week is the season finale, but hey, at least we got a great season, even if it was short. And we’ve got another season to look forward to.

What a cool episode! Boy, that Dubois family just can’t get a break this year can they?
That’s a new one, the dead twin inhabiting his brother’s body. I thought Jose Ferrer did a great job playing the disabled part, but I don’t think he was so convincing playing a man with the mind of a 12 year old. He played the evil one real well. Liked the deal Teddy and Allison struck - it’s a new twist.
I’m so happy Scanlon has had so much to do this shortened season! Wonder if we will get to see Devalos on the season finale? Too bad it’s end so soon - seems like it just started, doesn’t it?

I came home late last night. What a episode to miss Open Mic!!!
So,here we are again at the season’s end. Man it was short.
This ep was interesting in terms of the Joe and Meghan story. I found the possessed twin story less interesting, but is was nice to see the cool bad guy Ferrer in that part.
Meghan is truly creeping me out. The first red flag is that the office is too dark. I’m sure that as a start up company, they want to cut costs on the utilities to a rented office, but dimly lit places have a certain effect on folks. It seems more intimate and private.
The second red flag is that Meghan has not mentioned any other human being in her life other than an obscure boyfriend. No mom, dad, sister, brother etc. Is she a loner?
The third red flag was how Meghan said Joe “hit” her to get her off of him. That term was pretty loaded.
Joe had better watch his back…
The season ender seems to imply that a showdown is eminent.
Speaking of showdowns, Patricia did an excellent job with rage in the scene where Al confronts Joe about her dream and Joe confesses that there is a problem with Meghan.

I agree, Lena. That scene in the garage when he tried to tell her about Meghan, and she lost it, she was fantastic! She was obviously devastated, and scared, because she “knew” that something had happened, but she didn’t want Joe to confirm her worst fears. Her anger and pain were clearly palpable, and that was one of her best moments this season.
Also gotta give it up to Joe for that final scene when he told Al how much he loved her and he would give up his dream to prove it to her, because he didn’t want to risk what they had. That was fantastic. And that hug at the end! OMG! Did that remind you of the Valentine’s episode from last season? That was so great and the chemistry between them is awesome. These two are perfect together (Al & Joe AND Patricia & Jake). I can’t imagine any other actors who could have fit either of those roles so perfectly.
