Why does Betty always get all the credit for reporting good news here? I pointed it out first, except my post got lost in limbo in that stupid spam filter. I say we blow it up.

Anyway, as I said before, I can’t wait for Medium to return, and I’m so excited that it’s back on Mondays in its regular time slot. And the best news is that 24 has been postponed indefinitely due to the writers strike (last I heard) so there shouldn’t be a lot of competition. And with Deal or No Deal as a lead-in, it should (hopefully) do a lot better than it did on Wednesdays. Let’s just hope that NBC leaves it where it is and gives it some decent promotion. With so few new shows starting in January, maybe they’ll put more into promoting it this year. They could hardly do worse than they did last year.

Katelyn, it did it to me again. I’m not kidding. I’m gonna send an e-bomb just to blow the spam filter up.

Can you get me unstuck again, please?

Sorry, Dawn. I have no idea why it is being so picky, except that it is being absolutely hammered with inappropriate stuff and is getting overwhelmed. Maybe it didn’t like stupid? I know it filters for swear words and the kids insist stupid is one of them. I say, “Stupid car” and they all say “Ooooh, you said stupid! I’m telling.”

Lol, Katelyn! I guess it’s sensitive. Maybe I hurt it’s feelings by calling it ’stupid’, you think?

Maybe we should be more considerate of the poor spam filter, even when it does send our posts into internet limbo and we’re tempted to blow it up,huh? Yeah, right.

So exciting that Medium will be back after the new year! Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukah to us all! But it still needs promotion; in an article written in Entertainment Weekly, there’s a listing of just how many episodes are available to be shown for all shows now on the air, and those about to be aired. Do ya think they included Medium? Nope! Butt-heads…
I can’t wait to see what David Cubitt looks like now; he changes each season. Still the sexiest beast no matter what he looks like, though…

Lol, Rachel, I know what you mean. NBC does seriously need to do a better job promoting the show. You would think with so few original shows that they would promoting the heck out of what they have, but nope. Not a bit.

I can’t wait to see some more of Jake Weber. Now THAT’s a sexy man. David’s sexy too, but Jake’s my man. Love him in those boxers. Yummm.

I’m with you Rachel! He is definitely yummy! I am so disappointed that the IMDB has no other listing for any new projects for him - it’s hard to believe that someone as talented and good-looking as him isn’t working on multiple projects.

NBC needs to wake up and promote Medium way better than they do now - not thrilled with the lead-ins - c’mon American Gladiator and D or ND?

Betty, the way things have been going lately, DoND is probably the best lead-in Medium could get on NBC right now. It’s still a ratings magnet, and could prove to be a good combo with Medium. Also, has anyone noticed how all the articles touting NBC’s winter schedule are calling Medium “the anchor” of the schedule and hailing its return to Monday nights? Although I have to agree that that it the smartest move NBC has made in a looong time. Let’s just hope the strike doesn’t make it a wasted spark of genius in an otherwise crowded sea of insanity.

You’re so right, Dawn. I’m not sure when they started filming, but it’s possible there’s at least 13 episodes done and ready to go, so there’d always be new shows to air in competition with all the reruns and reality shows. With luck (!!) NBC will know that and do something worthwhile in commercials and promos.

Rachel, TV Guide’s Ausiello Report, believe it or not, actually included Medium in the list of shows and how many new episodes had been filmed and how many had aired and were left to air. Medium has filmed 9 episodes and that is all they had ready to air (finished scripts) before the strike.

A number of other shows that debuted in September or October are already out of new shows and a couple have maybe 1 or 2 new eps to air. According to certain sources, some Fall shows would have already been pulled due to poor ratings, but with the strike looming, they continued to run for fear of having nothing new all too soon.

I would rather see the networks continue to air some low rated shows that might still find an audience, rather than running tons of mindless reality garbage. I’d even like to see all of the pilots that were filmed but not picked up over more reality junk. Hey, they might even prove to be a ratings winner if given the chance to be seen by the public!

Yippee!! This sounds like great news, considering all the shows I have been watching lately to tide me over until Medium starts again are not airing new episodes because of the writer’s strike. Hopefully NBC will do some decent promoting, considering they don’t really have much to promote.

This has me so excited. I really want to see the direction they’re going to take this season!!
