Medium Poll Results: If you could pick any actress to play Scanlon’s love interest, who would you pick?
And the lucky winner as our pick for Scanlon’s ideas love interest is…Sandra Bullock!
And what an excellent partnership they would make. The hard-headedness. The playfulness. The passion. Whew! I am getting all hot and bothered just thinking about it.
Interestingly, the only two women who received zero votes were Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, famously from Sex and the City. Frankly, I am shocked. Not so much about Cynthia Nixon because, lets face it, she was the ugly duckling of the lot. Not that she is anywhere near unattractive, but they tended to frump her up on that show. She was actually quite real in comparison to the other three, but that show was not about “real” so she sort of stuck out. She was my favorite character. I can see, though, why no one would think her a good match for Scanlon.
Kristen Davis, though? I thought everyone in the world thought Kristin Davis was the ideal woman. I am not-so-secretly tickled she received no votes. Perhaps because a boy-man once compared me to her in a unfavorable light. He was actually comparing me to her character Charlotte on Sex and the City because, you know, if you are the kind of person who thinks it is okay to tell someone they compare unfavorably with another human being, it is perfectly natural to make that ideal comparison-person a fictional TV character. I mean, that’s rational, right?
As if anyone who has spent any amount of time with me would put me in the same room with Charlotte Fielding. But I digress…
I do love your add-ins. Whoever wrote in “Me” though, well, you may want to rethink that choice. Unless you are an exceptional actress, we will rip you to shreds, honey. SHREDS. Just a friendly warning.

I absoulutely love Sandra Bullock and think she would be good with Scanlon. Wow, what a great group of women and the diversity among those chosen!
I’m surprised, too, that no one chose Kristen Davis - when Sex and the City was on, all the men I work with thought she was the sexiest and best one of the 4 women. Never cared for Cynthia Nixon on the show. Just something about her bugged me.
I think we should send our suggestion to the producers of Medium! After all, Sandra has made a few appearances on George Lopez - she is one of the producers of that.
