BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I love JCW’s write-in answer, “A dead cat only Joe can’t see.” Advantages: no litter box smell, no cat hair, and no dead rodents left at your feet as loving gifts. As for disadvantages, I cannot think of any. Can you?
