What do Allison's neighbors think of her with all the comings and goings?
What do you think Allison’s neighbors think of her? Scanlon comes and goes at all hours of the day and night, picking her up, dropping her off. Police have been called to the house in the middle of the night. Allison comes and goes at all hours. Scanlon frequently sends a police car to pick her up. Devalos has come by to pick her up several times. Do they think she and Scanlon have something going on? Do they think she is a criminal? Drug dealer? Undercover? Unlucky? Hmmm, coming and going at all hours usually means drug dealing is going on, although I do have a friend that does shift work and her shift changes every so often, but basically she is the only one coming and going at weird hours.
Hmmmmm, come to think of it, I come and go at strange hours because of job and volunteer committments. When I first moved here, and this is a very small town (2000 +) my neighbors thought this was my weekend home because they never saw me! I do try my best to fly under the radar which can be a very good thing in a small town…..
Definitely, when multiple people are coming and going at all hours, it usually means drug dealing or prostitution. Anyone remember “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”? The original location is only about an hour from here and in Dolly Parton’s words, “Ain’t nothing dirty going on here!”
