Medium Season 4 Final Episodes Spoiler - Episode Titles
We’re down to the last few episodes of season four and I guess we should be thrilled that we were able to enjoy a few more with all the drama of the strikes, but it went so fast, didn’t it? The titles of the next four episodes are Partners in Crime, airing on April 14th, A Cure for What Ails You airing April 21st, To Have and To Hold airing April 26th and Car Trouble airing April 28th. As I mentioned last week, this set of episodes does have a thread running through it where Joe has a partner for his venture who is a bit too cute for Allison’s comfort.
I’m kind of glad they’re doing this continuing stories thing. It was really interesting to watch Cynthia Keener’s character develop through the previous six episodes and now we’ll get to see Joe’s partner’s story. (Although I’m sure it won’t be as interesting as Cynthia’s.)
Thanks to Dawn for pointing out that we have at least one more episode to look forward to, since To Have and To Hold is a rerun and Kelly Preston is appearing in a four episode arc.

Sounds interesting, Katelyn. I also like that they are doing the multi-episode arcs more. It’s a nice change of pace once in a while.
It’ll be interesting to see Edward Cooper back again. I bet Allison won’t be thrilled to see him though. Probably won’t be happy to work him again, either.
The one that looks the most interesting to me (at least for now) is “A Cure for What Ails You”. I saw a spoiler for that one and it sounds good.
Don’t know about any of the others.
Except “To Have and To Hold”. That one’s already aired. It was episode 3, the one with the miniature Paris and the kidnapped bride-to-be. And Joe’s prospective boss who sold him out at the last minute. Remember that one? Maybe NBC is going to re-air it to stretch out the season.
I still can’t believe it’s almost over, darnit (sniff, sob) and we have to wait until January (again!!!darnit!!) for new episodes. But on the up side, Medium’s coming back for another season!!!! YAAAAAAYY!!! (Doing my happy dance!!!!)

Has anyone noticed the reversal of fortunes at NBC this season because of the strike?
Last season, everyone was certain that Medium would be cancelled and wouldn’t see a fourth season. It languished in the middle or bottom of the pack in ratings (because of NBC’s stupid scheduling moves), and no one thought it would be back. It was regularly at or near the bottom of NBC’s schedule, in terms of ratings.
But this season, it has been kicking butt in the 18-49 (and other) demos. It has been posting higher ratings than last season consistently, and has been in the top 20 several times, when it didn’t even crack it last season.
AND it has been (along with Deal or No Deal) NBC’s strongest performing show this season, both during and since the strike, and it has even beaten some of the shows that were airing on the net before the strike. It is usually second or third, behind DoND, on NBC’s schedule. But this week, it is NBC’s highest rated show so far, even beating TWO airings of DoND! And if it stays on course, it’ll be in the top 20 again this week.
And it’s improved so much that not only is NBC bringing it back next season, they’re using it to anchor Sundays (typically a killer night for ABC). AND launch two new shows. Not bad for a show that was all but dead, huh?

Dawn,
I thought that one sounded familiar, but they had it listed on their media site with the new episodes. That’ll teach me not to double check a show’s media site, huh? Since they’re replaying it, that means there should be a new episode showing in May because NBC says Kelly Preston is doing four episodes. Hooray!

I’m with you, Katelyn. Anything for more Medium. And since that’s the first rerun they’ve shown this season, I won’t complain. At least we’re getting an extra week of Medium. Yaaaayy!

My concern is that the idiots at NBC may treat Medium like they did Las Vegas - pronounce how they are happy with the numbers its getting on Fri and then dump it after they get that 5th season done.
I do hope that something will tank very fast on NBC on Monday night so they can bring Medium back early to the spot it needs to be in! NBC won’t have a need to keep lousy shows limping along since there won’t be writer’s strike.
Can you believe those idots? Taking a show that in its 4th year has been doing very well thank you and holding it until January and then dumping it on Sundays! What’s wrong with these people in the programming department?
Maybe CBS will take it off NBC’s hands like ABC has taken Scrubs off NBC’s and is rumored to be doing the same with The New Adventures of Old Christine from CBS - IMO, Christine isn’t that funny, so I could care less if it gets cancelled or not or moved to another net.
To Have and To Hold was so heartbreaking for Joe!
What a year in TV!

I’d like to see it come back earlier too, Betty, but with this new year-round format that NBC is trumpeting, it seems highly unlikely that it will get brought earlier. And with the scheduling, it seems like Sunday at 9 is the best spot it’s going to get for now. But like you said, something could tank. We’ll see.
On the other hand, this could be a (backhanded) vote of confidence in Medium by NBC, with them using it to anchor two new shows on a new night. They’re not scheduling it against “Lost” or “24″ (which is where it would be if it stayed on Mondays). Granted, Desperate Housewives is still a ratings grabber, but it is rapidly losing steam and may not prove to be such a formidable competitor next season. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
