If you’ve been longing to catch the whole 4th season of Medium, mark your calendars for September 9th. According to TVShowsonDVD.com, we’ll be able to get the 16 episode DVD collection on September 9th. I’m glad to hear they’re going ahead with a DVD season release, even if the season wasn’t as long as it usually is because of the strike.

What great news! Hey, we don’t even have to wait until October for this one! That’s the least they could do for us die hard fans! I hope it is PACKED with LOTS of extras.

I better go on over to Amazon.com and pre-order it. Last year they mailed my DVD set so I received the day of the release or the day after - what great service, huh?

    Hi Katelyn and Betty,
Yea! Do we know what kind of extras it’s going to include? They’re usually great. I just looked on the Amazon site and Patricia looks awesome on the cover. The tagline is interesting: “The Truth Lies Where She Sees It.” Boy does that girl have some power! lol

    Hey nansee! How’s the newlywed?

I don’t think they tell you exactly what the extras will be - they may give some hints at Amazon, but you just have to buy one - even then, the titles don’t always tell you exactly what it is is you know what I mean.

I’m glad you all are as excited as I am! So far, there is no info on extras. I’m hoping for a ton of them, since the season was shorter than normal.

All I can say is there better be LOTS of extras! They are ripping us off on the price - $44.99 - there were only 16 eps! You can buy last season’s for $41.99!

The good thing about pre-ordering on Amazon.com is you have a price guarantee - if the price drops between now and Sept 9, they will drop the price to you - you are not charged for it until it ships.

Personally I don’t think they should charge us more than $34.99 since it is a short season.

I’m hoping there will be lots of extras also, but as it’s only being described as 4-disc set, it doesn’t sound like there are going to be that many. Maybe they’ll cram more into the few discs they have. We’ll see. Season 1 was also 16 episodes and it was a 5-disc set, so I hope we’re not gonna get gipped on the extras.
Betty, I also pre-ordered mine on Amazon last year and it arrived the same day it hit the stores. Now THAT’S service. I think I’ll do the same this year.
And I love the cover art. It’s not as good as last years (that red background with her green eyes is just awesome), but it’s great. I wish they had used a newer picture but apparently they didn’t do any promo pics this season. But the one they chose is one of my favorites from last year. And the color’s kinda grown on me too. I wasn’t wild about the yellow at first, but now I really like it.

Hey Dawn, the reason I got my DVD set the day after the release - I always pick the free Super Saver Shipping rather than pay - it comes faster when you pay, but I’d rather take advantage of the free shipping! Just call me thrifty!

I think the cover is gorgeous!

Hi, Betty, married life is so far so good! That’s a good deal about the Amazon price guarantee; I didn’t know they did that. I usually don’t preorder b/c of no money, then when it’s released run around like a chicken w/ its head cut off looking for a copy because I’ve changed my mind & have to have it asap.

I love the cover, too. Patricia seems like a yellow, sunny type of person. Since we’re finished with primary colors (and I’m assuming there will be another season), I’m rooting for purple. :)
