Patricia Arquette
Patricia wore a cashmere lounge ensemble in powder blue with white trim at the V-neck. The blue made her eyes jump out at you and I’m pretty sure I stared . Why wouldn’t I? She looked divine.
There is something so normal about Patricia Arquette. I feel silly saying that. Of course she is normal but with all the celebrity weirdness in the news lately, I just want to put that out there. Patricia Arquette: a normal human being who talks of normal things. Like what? Like dental implants. The Medium publicist is getting one so Patricia was telling her all about hers and how the producer had one that got infected a year later. A year!
The highlight of that conversation was Patricia saying, “My implant,” then looking up and making eye contact with me, pointing to her boob, and saying “Not here,” then pointing to her jaw and saying, “Here.”
I cannot be certain, but I am pretty sure I saw a twinkle in her eye.
Jake Weber
Jake Weber has the best voice EVER. It is smooth and low-key and the most calming thing I have ever heard. He has a firm handshake and looks you right in the eye. I only met him for about ten seconds but it was enough. Well not really, but I’ll take what I can get. The rest of the time was swallowed up in hilarity when one of the other journalists said she had orders to take him home with her. He responded, “Well, well” and “What does she have in mind” and “We should put that in one of the scripts.”
The last thing I heard him say as he and Patricia headed off to prepare for shooting was, “I have to go get my man makeup now.”
