Medium Trivia - David Cubitt
Betty came up with a great trivia question that should separate the true David Cubitt fans from the wannabees. I have to confess that the only reason I know the answer is because Betty told it to me. Can you get it right?
In "Death Takes a Policy" Detective Scanlon uttered a phrase about the doctor doing the "horizontal mambo". In what movie early in his career did David Cubitt use those same two words?

Good one! I’d noticed that and wondered if he ad libbed the phrase in the Medium episode.
I can’t ever get the buttons to work right on these trivia games–ugh! I don’t think it’s the website, just me being an idiot. I’ll have to try again tomorrow. But (I don’t mention the title, but I’ll put a bit of spoiler space anyway) …

Hey nansee! I don’t think it’s you - this website does weird things from time to time.

Hi ya, Betty! I’ve been fighting a cold, and losing the battle. I haven’t even watched the new episode from last week yet! Agh! Must be feelin’ icky if I can’t muster the time for that!
This is a cute idea of yours and I applaud it. I will fail miserably, because although I have all of those movies of David’s on my DVR, I’ve only seen the Lifetime movie. Oh wait, I don’t have the Vegas flick. So, I’d have to guess the answer. So, for the heck of it, I’ll guess and say the Vegas flick. I know he plays a real horse’s patoot in that one, and it sounds like something that kind of character would say.
I’m off to down a bottle of Nyquil and hit the sheets, and try to shake this dang thing.
On a sidebar, it sounds like negotiations will be resuming again soon. Fingers crossed!
night…acHOO!!

Rachel, I hope you feel better soon. Seems like every other person around here has some kind of upper respiratory illness going on, but it’s no wonder with the weather we have, cold, humid, warm, cold again, rainy & cold, rainy & icky humid and warm, cold - you get the deal - stand around for five minutes and it changes again. Just when you start to adapt to the weather, it changes again. It could be much worse, so it’s not all that bad.
Wow, you must be REALLY sick if you haven’t even watched Medium yet and a NEW ONE at that! Chicken Noodle Soup - yes, it really does have medicinal qualities!! Gargle with warm salt water for a sore throat. Eat hot peppers if your head is congested - it really works!
I heard the WGA were going to start talking again so I hope this strike is solved soon so you and everyone else can get back to work and we will have new episodes of our favorite shows - well, at least next year.

Betty, yeah right? I’m so weak, I fall asleep trying to watch TV, can hardly type even! I’ll get to watching the newest Medium probably tomorrow or Friday, then put my two cents in on the open mic page. Hot peppers, eh…?
The DGA had a deal so fast, the writers must be feeling the pressure to get this crap solved. I want my normal job back! And yup, it’ll be next year. This is supposed to be pilot season right now (filming-wise and what-not) and that’s been deeply affected; next fall is going to be very interesting!
Did you go and see the article Katelyn found? It was the picture of the day, our David was! He’s my picture of the day everyday…
Soup’s ready! Gonna go and take care of this darn thing and try to shake it. Later…
