One of the Arquette Sisters Is in Nick Nolte: No Exit

by Katelyn on May 16th, 2008

NICK NOLTE Indiewire.com says that Patricia Arquette’s interview appears in the Nick Nolte: No Exit film that is premiering at The 43rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. However, all of my research has only turned up a mention of Rosanna Arquette in the film credits. Another case of mistaken identity? If anyone comes across information that Patricia Arquette is definitely in the film, please let me know.

Patricia Arquette has worked with Nolte, so would be able to contribute to an interview. She appeared in Nightwatch as the girlfriend of the movie’s star, Ewan McGregor, who is suspected of some really icky crimes. Nick Nolte is the cop who is investigating the crimes - or is he? Anyway, it is one of those gross slasher films, but if you like that sort of movie, it isn’t the worst ever made.

Nick Nolte, wow, that guy has got a screw lose - I think he burned out too many brain cells with drugs over the years.

I tried to watch Nightwatch, it comes on fairly often on FMC, I think. It was too creepy for me - I kept waiting for Patricia Arquette to show up and about 30 minutes in, still no Patricia, so I bailed. Didn’t want to have nightmares! Lauren Graham is in it also - late of Gilmore Girls.

Betty, if you haven’t seen Nightwatch all the way through, and if you like scary movies, this is a good one. It’s VERY creepy! Especially those exterior shots of the morgue with the trees wrapped in plastic!!(gives me the creeps just thinking about that!) Patricia doesn’t come in until a little bit into the movie and her part isn’t huge, but it is crucial at the end. She does get a good bit more screen time in the second half of the movie. Much more than Lauren Graham (who basically just sits there through the movie looking ticked off). But as far as scary movies go, it’s a pretty good one. And I’ll never listen to “This Old Man” the same way again!

I’ve never heard of this Nolte movie. What’s it about? It’s probably Rosanna in it and they got them mixed up again. I recently came across an article with a picture of Rebecca DeMornay identified as Patricia. (shakes head) It amazes me how some of these people are able to get jobs as journalists when they apparently don’t know how to check their facts.

Dawn, no I’m not really a horror movie kind of gal. The cinematographer did a terrific job of setting a creepy mood - especially in those shots of the morgue - I kept expecting a corpse was going to lurch forward any minute!

Yes, it’s pretty unbelievable that the papparrazi doesn’t know the difference between Rosanna and Patricia - I don’t think they look much alike - in fact, I think Patricia is far prettier. I always remember what a dispicable character Rosanna was in The Whole Nine Yards - funny movie - she was a real biyatch!

Anyway, I guess those journalists, and I use the term very loosely, are just lazy.

I’ve not heard of this Nick Nolte movie and would be pretty surprised anyone would hire him after his weird behavior on the red carpet when he was gropping the interviewer. I don’t remember which one it was for, Emmy’s, Oscar’s, Sags - all that strike stuff - it’s been a weird year all around.

Not that I’m an expert or anything, but I’ve never heard of that film festival either. Good for the independent film! At least the characters don’t have to fit some cookie cutter mold to please some studio executive.
