Open Mic Night at Medium Dreams

by Sheila on March 21st, 2007

It is Wednesday and you know what that means…

Open Mic Night at Medium Dreams!

Come on over you RSS readers. We are having a party in the comments. Topic? No idea. Could be this week’s rerun of Profiles in Terror. Could be the size of Deputy Mayor DiNovi’s butt. Could be all about who would have plastic surgery and who thinks it is horrifying. You never know what you’re gonna get over here.

See you soon!

120 opinions for Open Mic Night at Medium Dreams

Oh, my favorite night of the week!

OK, this is probably my #2 LEAST Favorite episode of this season. Why you ask? Very little Scanlon - it’s never that good for me if I don’t get my healthy dose of Scanlon. Second - this was the second ep where someone did something outside of the law and Allison knew and was asked and encouraged to ignore it. Kind of vigilante justice. I know we are dealing with some scum sucking pigs here, but it was beginning to set a dangerous precident. JMHO.

I would have rather seen her dazzle the FBI guy with her knowledge.

What was my first least favorite ep? The one with the dead assemblyman. First, very little Scanlon again, but it was just a mess of an episode. Not very logical and I like logic. Too many plot holes for me.

I forgive the writers because they have done an outstanding job this season on most of the other eps. As I watch “Four Dreams” again and again, I’m still impressed with the superior job the writers did in coming up with the unique dreams and the way they were weaved together. We got to see lots of Scanlon and find some more out about him personally - that he wants kids and is not that happy with being the man about town lately.

Doesn’t anyone else think that Scanlon’s apartment is WAY too put together for a straight guy? Did you notice when DiNovi was in the bathroom that the towels were 1) on the rack 2) matching 3) perfectly and nicely folded, and 4) they looked brand new. AND he’s got PILLOW SHAMS! How many straight men even know what a pillow sham is? He’s got pictures on every wall - nice lamps that match - a beautiful comforter. C’mon for a straight man who’s never lived with a woman (for any length of time) his place seems awfully put together. I’m just sayin’…….

My son has his own house - has for several years now (since he was 22 - Happy Birthday Son - today he is 28! My baby boy!). My daughter, granddaughter, and I spent a couple of nights at his house over Thanksgiving and discovered he had a total of 3 towels - two of which had holes in them - no they don’t match - and he has one set of sheets for each of his two beds. I always discover what to buy him for Christmas when I spend time at his house! Needless to say he got some new towels (a set that matches) and sheets for Christmas this year. Oh yes, and a set of mixing bowls - a dutch oven does NOT make a good bowl.

Wonder if Scanlon cooks? Probably not.

Stuck in the span filter again - guess this site doesn’t like me. Boo hoo!

Rescued at 5:50: Sorry for the delay. ~S

FYI on last week’s first episode of Raines, the guy who plays Allison’s brother, Michael Benoit, was in the episode.

Also Margo Martindale, who plays Catherine, Allison’s psychic friend, is in the new show on FX The Riches. She plays a pill popping neighbor.

Oh, forgot about this one, Jessy Shram, teenage Allison, plays the daughter in the Hallmark Channel Jane Doe movies. I’m not sure if she’s always played the daughter because I don’t always watch those - they have some of the more insipid plots on television - but she was in the most recent new one that aired last weekend. They produce several new Jane Doe movies each year.

Betty: I just rescued your comment from the spam filter. Sorry about that.

    Je suis ici!

    Try to contain your excitement.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 7:27 pm

    What does that mean, Sheila?

    The French part, I mean.

Oh, just a heads up. I don’t know if you know this already, but there’s a Patricia Arquette media blitz coming up. She’s scheduled to be on the Today show next Wednesday. Also, according to tvguide, she’s scheduled to be on The View on the 28th and on the4th of April. I don’t know which is accurate, but I can’t imagine her being on twice in a week. Just FYI.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 7:33 pm

Dawn: Thanks for the info! “Je suis ici” means “I am here.” Not very exciting. :)

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 7:42 pm

Hey, thanks for that. I wish I could speak French, or any other language, for that matter. Anyway, glad you’re here.

And it’s always exciting when you arrive, Sheila. By the way, I invited a friend to drop by tonight. I don’t know if he’ll be here, but he said he might be.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 7:53 pm

I was actually a French major in college, switched to Spanish, then finally settled in accounting. Go figure. I hardly remember any French or Spanish. It disappears when you don’t use it. At least it does for me.

I hope your friend enjoys Open Mic Night. Not as much turn out on a rerun night but still fun.

Good Evening everyone, another great episode. Great even the second time around.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 8:16 pm

D’oh! Another east coaster! Hi Tom. An hour and 45 minutes before it even STARTS for me. Very frustrating.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 8:19 pm

I love this show so much, I even like the commercials. lol

I think the reason Patricia is appearing on so many shows next week is to promote the new episodes. I would expect her to be on some of the late night shows to like Leno. I will tune in on whenever she is on.

I trust you know about the site http://www.tv-now.com/stars/patarq.html which shows all her shows for the next month. It is refreshed every Sunday night.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 8:30 pm

Tom: Kewl! I did not know about that website.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 8:34 pm

I always check to see if one of her movies is on that I haven’t seen yet. There are some of her earlier movies that I have not been able to get a hold of yet, but I never give up when it comes to her.

Just started to look at your site over the last couple of days and it is by far the most comprehensive one I have seen. Keep up the good work.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 8:40 pm

Thanks Tom! Feel free to leave links to other Medium websites, blogs, etc. I am always looking for Medium sites to link to in the sidebar and in blog posts.

Sometimes comments with links get shunted to the SPAM filter but I clear that out at least once a day.

Just dropping in to say hello to everyone before I’m off to watch the American Idol results show.
Hope everyone has a fabulous Medium evening!

Tom - be sure and check out Fast Food Nation. Patricia’s part is small, but she’s very good in it, and I really enjoyed the film! Just the sort of thought provoking work you’d suspect she’d enjoy doing!

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 8:57 pm

Howdy JCW. Enjoy Idol. I cannot bring myself to watch Ryan Seacrest. He makes me crazy. Ever since Kathy Griffin’s story about how he ripped her top open when they were presenters at the Grammy’s.

  • JCW
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:01 pm

Ryan Gaycrest is a dick with a small case “d”.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:01 pm

Hi, Sheila, I’m back. Just got home from work. I see Tom dropped by. Glad to see you made it, Tom.

Sheila, Tom is the one who told me about the Patricia Arquette podcast. Great stuff, Tom. And welcome to Open Mic Nite.

JCW: You’re right about Fast Food Nation. Very good movie. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that Patricia’s part was so small.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:03 pm

    Hi JCW,

I have been tracking the status of Fast Food Nations now for 4 months. It drove me crazy that all the trailers I saw, not one of them showed Patricia. Here a star of her quality is in the movie and she wasn’t even in the advertisements other then by name.

I am looking forward to seeing the movie soon.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:06 pm

JCW: You’re so right about Seacrest. Did you see when he interviewed Patricia on the red carpet at the SAG awards? What a jerk!

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:09 pm

    Hi Dawn,

Glad to see you made it.

This is a great site, thanks for telling me about it.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:12 pm

Glad you could join us, Tom. Hope you have fun.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:13 pm

Hi Dawn! I had a feeling Tom was the friend you mentioned. He emailed me about the Patricia Arquette podcast and introduced himself. I fear he came here with high expectations, though. He heard “Open Mic Night” and thought there would be audio.

    Hm…

    HM…..

Y’know, if were all on, say, Skype, we could actually do that one night. If we all had microphones. And could figure out how to use them.

Oh forget it. I am microphone challenged!

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:17 pm

Sorry if I gave you the wrong idea, Tom. But it’s still fun, even without microphones. And don’t feel like the Lone Ranger. I’m barely computer literate.

Hey, we need Betty. Where’s the refreshments?

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:19 pm

I think Betty cannot post from home but can read what’s going and leaves her comments the next day.

    I think.

In Betty’s honor, margaritas on the rock all around! Cheers!

    *clink*

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:20 pm

    Cheers to you!

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:24 pm

    Dawn,

As I mentioned to Sheila, I am not disappointed at all. I just love the idea of a way of communicating on line with friends who have a common interest.

I also mentioned to Sheila that she should use her influence and invite Patricia to one of these open mic sessions. I could listen (sorry) watch her type for hours. lol

    This is great.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:26 pm

Lol, Tom. What a great idea! Wouldn’t it be awesome to have her on here? I bet she would be hilarious to have on Open Mic Nite.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:28 pm

Sheila, has the show started there yet?

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:31 pm

Oooh, groovy idea. Maybe for one of the new episodes. Perhaps she would come and live-comment as it airs, sort of like the commentary they have on DVD’s. I have no idea if she would be interested in visiting our little blog but I will check it out. Hee!

P.S. If you are emailing me, Tom, I switched to a different computer for the rest of the evening and do not get my email here.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:33 pm

I think Sheila is busy making those margaritas on the rocks so she can kick back, relax and watch the episode of Medium we watched before.

I myself would rather be stone cold sober so that I don’t dull the senses so I can have a true Patricia experience.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:33 pm

Sheila, what a cool idea! Good one, Tom!

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:35 pm

I stopped emailing when you started making the drinks. lol

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:36 pm

/wiping salt from lip and she strolls in with a fresh pitcher of margaritas

    Top-up, anyone?

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:37 pm

Sheila: That would be awesome to have Patricia on here. Then we could really get the lowdown on what goes on on the show. I know it’s a pipedream, but what the heck? If you’re gonna dream, dream big.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:38 pm

I’ll take a freshen up, Sheila. Extra salt, please.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:43 pm

/me pours Dawn a fresh one as I place a cunningly concealed straw sombrero on her head while she is distracted by the tasty beverage

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:45 pm

Has anybody seen the previews for the new shows coming up? Looks like some good ones. I read a couple of them at tvguide.com and they sound interesting. I hope they’re good. The ratings have got to go back up. They were horrible last week. The worst they’ve ever been. Hopefully NBC will take into consideration the fact that it was a rerun when they’re looking at them.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:46 pm

I wish I was in California right now, that way I could be getting ready to see Medium. You know one of the things about the show doesn’t get enough attention.

When I was growing up we had family shows like Father knows best, Donna Reed Show, I hesitate to mention the next one Ozzie and Harriet. I use to watch those shows and say is that what family life is all about. I would look at my family and say what happened???

In the Dubois family, they really do act like a family. So life like, now that is reality TV. Its not the thrust of the show, but the attention to this kind of detail in the production of the show is what makes it so great.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:46 pm

Sheila, I love the sombrero. Thanks. I trust you have one too.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:49 pm

    Dawn: Si, senorita.

Tom: It really is an excellent production. They just feel like real people with real lives and all the imperfections that go along with that.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:49 pm

Interesting that you mentioned that,Tom. I read a review today that said that the couple on Friday Night Lights had the most realistic marriage on television. Do you remember when they said that about Medium? What happened to all the people who raved about this show when it first came on? The show hasn’t changed. So what happened to them?

  • JCW
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:51 pm

Tom & Dawn - Although it’s true Patricia’s part in Fast Food Nation is a small one, in the context of the film which revolves around a very large ensemble of actors, her part is not THAT small. In addition, she looked so different it took me a few moments to recognize her! It’s small…true. However, the film itself is good and she’s very good in it. Well worth a viewing.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:53 pm

I just reread my liveblogging of this episode when it first aired. I didn’t really enjoy it as much as other episodes but it did have its good moments. Marie and cable. Allison and Joe’s wicked dialogue.

Dawn: I haven’t seen Friday Night Lights. Is it really that good?

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:55 pm

JCW: You are so right. But as Tom said, it’s disheartening to a star of Patricia’s caliber in such a small role. But it was a pivotal role, and I loved her in it. I love the way she can become so many different characters. I don’t think I can remember two of her movies where the characters were similar, or that she looked the same.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:55 pm

I just turned on the TV. I totally forgot Crossing Jordan now leads into Medium! I am usually madly trying to write a blog post so I don’t turn the TV on until right before the show. I need to watch more TV.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:57 pm

Sheila: I haven’t watched Friday Night Lights, mostly because I’m not at home when it airs, but it just didn’t look that interesting to me. Although the critics rave about it, and a lot of people at the Envelope are predicting an Emmy nomination.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 9:57 pm

JCW, you don’t have to sell me on watching it. I am looking sooo forward to viewing it.

I probably will get some arguments here, but I think one of the reasons although I am NOT saying its a valid reason, is the moving from Monday night. Why mess around with success???

I would have hoped though after a few weeks, people would find it and watch it again. Who knows. Just like who knows how truly accurate the viewing statistics are.

I am a mathematician, and you can get numbers to say anything you want them too. Creative accounting. lol sorry Shelia.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:00 pm

Heh. “What is my net income?” “What do you want it to be?”

I agree the move from Monday night was a bad bad bad idea. Even now, I still have a hard time adjusting to Wednesday night.

    Ooh! It’s starting!

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:00 pm

Tom, I agree. I think the biggest reason for the drop this season is the move from Wednesdays. And NBC has done a terrible job of promoting it this year. Everyone thinks it should be moved back to Monday, even Marc over at pifeedback.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:01 pm

Did anyone else notice she only dried one leg before wrapping the towel around herself?

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:01 pm

    Lol, I love that.

“I’m tryin’ to have a nitemare in here.”

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:02 pm

The only thing about this episode that struck me funny was the ending. There was another episode this season that left it open ended also. I am assuming its open ended because there will be some kind of continuation in later episodes. Otherwise one might think Allison is deciding who gets punished and who goes free.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:02 pm

    Strangers in the night….

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:04 pm

Was that the one with the little boy at the end?

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:05 pm

I kinda like it when they leave it a little open-ended, Tom. It leaves it open to interpretation and that makes it interesting to me. It always makes for some interesting debates afterwards.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:06 pm

    Cold syrup and hot waffles.

    Ooh, Marie, the little felon!

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:06 pm

I’m not sure I want them to revisit this issue. Leaving it open makes us think about what we would do in that situation. Sometimes when they provide an ending for us, we don’t always ponder the other options.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:10 pm

When I say open ended, I mean the criminal is not brought to justice.

Another words she turns the other way.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:10 pm

At least I don’t. Probably because I LIKE having the answer provided. Having to think makes me tired. Heh.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:11 pm

I like a television show that has the ability to make us think and inspire conversations that normally might not take place. That is something that I think Medium does well. Like The Boy Next Door episode. That one sparked a lot of debate on some of the boards I visit.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:14 pm

Hey, wasn’t that coroner in that underwater movie with the aliens from outer space? Can’t think of its name right now.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:15 pm

I see what you mean, Tom. It is frustrating to see the bad guy not brought to justice. But I like to think that they will eventually get what’s coming to them.

I forgot about this part. This guy is a real jerk to Allison.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:16 pm

Sheila, are you talking about Sphere? Or The Abyss? Or maybe Deep Star Six?

Haha, just kidding. I didn’t recognize her.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:17 pm

Tom: Yes, they ruled the boy’s father’s death an accident. I was a little confused as to whether the boy or the sister made him fall off the ladder but I guess it ended up the boy killed his father just like his aunt killed her father way back when?

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:18 pm

    The Abyss! That’s it!

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:19 pm

Tom, did I tell you we talk about anything and everything here? It’s always interesting.

Poor Allison. I don’t blame her for being furious. That guy was so rude.

Hey, Joe, is that other arm available?

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:20 pm

But wait, I was thinking The Abyss but maybe she was in Sphere where your imagination turned into reality and she got surrounded by squids or jellyfish or something equally boneless and freaky.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:20 pm

Sheila, you’re right! She played Catfish in that movie. That’s one of my favorites.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:21 pm

Hey look! That ashtray conveniently had the name of the hotel pasted to the bottom. How lucky!

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:22 pm

Allison just got called on the carpet, heh!

    I hate when that happens.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:22 pm

Oh, my mistake. It’s the name of a bar or business, not a hotel. That is TOTALLY. DIFFERENT.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:23 pm

Of course, Sheila. What were you thinking?

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:24 pm

It’s nothing. It’s probably nothing. Never mind. Don’t mind me. Just go on with your life like everything’s okay. I’m sure your daughter isn’t autistic.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:25 pm

Where’s Tom? Did he leave us?

I love Allison’s sarcastic response to the profiler.

    Ooh, Scanlon’s here. Hi, cutie.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:27 pm

“..unusually spry for a rotting corpse..”

    I just love that Scanlon.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:28 pm

The episode I seem to remember with that little kid is the woman he is staying with, not sure if it was his mother now but apprently she killed someone and Alison when she was leaving looked up to the where the kid was and said loud enough for the woman to hear that she would be checking back to see if he is alright.

    You get my point though.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:28 pm

He does get the best lines, doesn’t he?

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:28 pm

I saw Tom in the kitchen a minute ago guzzling margaritas straight from the pitcher. Maybe he is, um, nappping.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:30 pm

Oh, there you are Tom. I guess that wasn’t you in the kitchen after all.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:30 pm

Tom, you’re right about that ep. It was never clear exactly who killed the father, so there was never any closure. They just leave you to draw your own conclusions.

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:31 pm

Yeah, I don’t remember any other episodes where they didn’t bring the killer to justice. It is a tad frustrating when they don’t. Though each one does make you think. (Dammit.)

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:32 pm

This is one of my favorite parts.

    “Funny man. Talk to me.”

That Marie is so cute. I love that they’re giving her lines.

And I love the way Joe and Allison argue. Does that sound weird? But they do it so well.

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:34 pm

Actually was in the kitchen, looking to see what you had in the fridge, then I heard you calling my name.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:35 pm

Anyone ever notice how creepy the bad guys always look on this show. They always do such a good job of casting them.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:37 pm

Find anything good in the fridge, Tom?

That dog scene was gross, wasn’t it? They’re still talking about that one at the NBC boards, that one and the cat from a couple of weeks ago.

  • Dawn
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:38 pm

    Lol.

    That’s muh girl!

  • Sheila
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:39 pm

Y’know, it’s funny, when I watch a Medium episode for the first time, I see the arguments and take them in as the natural progression of the story. They don’t stand out as particularly mean or contentious. But then when I watch the episode again to observe the acting and structure, those are some doozies! Harsh words and tones! It always surprises me and I still wonder why I don’t notice it the first time around.

Probably because they are excellent actors and I just fall into the story, huh?

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:39 pm

Dawn, when I saw the dog scene I said the same thing. Great minds think alike

  • Tom
    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:42 pm

Sheila, whats the record on the number of posts for a open mic session?

Animal torture and death always gets me. Isn’t it interesting how we can take people being tortured and murdered on film no problem, but any time they show it happening to an animal (and it’s fiction), everybody freaks out? (Me included.)

    Tom, what can I say?

Sheila, I was having a discussion with someone at imdb recently. She said their arguments didn’t seem real, but I disagree. I think they are excellently written and perfectly played. Just harsh enough to fit into the story without coming across as mean or implying marital discord. I think it just speaks to the writing and the wonderful skill of the actors.

Sheila, somebody said the same thing at the NBC board. Why do people get so upset over animal abuse, but not about murders and rapes?

By the way, what is the record for the numbe of posts on Open Mic Nite?

    Airpane! Airpane!

Lol. Maybe she could play Tattoo in a remake of Fantasy Island.

Tom: Tonight is the record! The closest second is Apocalypse Push with 89.

Oh, and Dawn, too. You both asked the same question. Dawn asked while I was going back through the archives to check.

    YEA! We broke a record!

I love Allison’s reaction to Joe.

“I think our daughter might be a felon.”

    “Excuse me?”

    She’s three years old! hah!

Shiela, Tom asked first. I was just echoing his thought.

    Uh-oh. BUSTED!

    Mar 21, 2007 at 10:57 pm

Tom, I was talking about the scene when Allison confronts the profiler.

And you’re right. Great minds. What can we say?

You know, it does seem like they’re making Allison more judgemental this season. First there was this episode, then the one with the boy next door. Doesn’t it seem like to you that she is deciding who is guilty and who isn’t?

Oh, and the one with the doll. I loved the scene in that one when she told the aunt, “You’re gonna get away with it.”

    Good stuff.

Isn’t Kurtwood Smith just the creepiest? My first notice of him was way back in Robocop. He was a baddie. I know he is lovable on That 70’s Show but really, he is too good of a creepy bad guy to not play one every once in a while.

    Can’t wait for that one.

Wow what a great open mic night! Thanks JCW for the kind remarks! I’m a Central Standard Timer and I do not have internet access at home - only at work. I can, however, read emails from my cell phone, so I can read your posts, I just can’t respond to them until the next day - unless of course you can hear me screaming or laughing! Ha Ha!

    Welcome Tom!

I am so looking forward to a new ep next week! Yippee! Yay!

Sorry guys, I had a situation yesterday and forgot to start off with the virtual drinks and snacks. Thanks Sheila for bringing those margaritas to the table. Dawn, did you bring your usual chips and salsa? Ever tried Ranch Dip with your chips? Yum!

Another thing that bugged me about this ep was Joe who would rather Marie be autistic than psychic. REALLY bugged me.

I, too, always enjoy reading you guy’s comments. I just wish I always wasn’t so sleepy Wednesday nights. Perhaps I’ll be more energized next week and stay up a little while with you.

Also, welcome Tom! I really liked reading your take on the episode.

Thanks for everyones comments. I just found out however that I will be in Pennsylvania next Wednesday/Thursday so I won’t be on next open Mic. However, I will definitely watch the new episode and when I return home on Thursday add my my comments on here.

This was really great and I am looking forward to spending many more evenings with you all. Tom
