Patricia Arquette Eats Out in New York
It is a good thing Patricia Arquette was looking fabulous yesterday when she went to dinner at the Waverly, because there were people hanging out snapping her photo. I wonder how weird it feels to have everyone paying her all this attention after ignoring her for three seasons? All it takes is for the entire television world to grind to a halt for the media to realize Patricia Arquette and Medium are awesome.

That is so true, Katelyn. Isn’t it funny that when those other shows are on (and you know the ones I mean), Patricia and Medium are completely ignored by the media, the paparazzi, the entertainment world and everyone else, it seems, yet when Medium is one of the few shows still in original airings, Patricia and the show are the best thing since sliced bread? But this is fantastic for the show, because it will hopefully boost the show’s, and Patricia’s visibility.
And wasn’t she looking FABULOUS out and about that night??!! Of course she always does, but usually the only pics we see of her are when the magazines and bloggers rag on her for the way she looks or the way she dresses. What do you want to bet we don’t see ONE of the recent pictures of her in a single magazine? I always look just to see if they do mention her, and it’s almost always a waste of time, because it’s always about Britney, or Paris, or Lindsay. You know, people who have no business being on the cover of anything but a flier for drug and alcohol awareness.

The more I read from the various entertainment blogs, the more I begin to see, that most of the people offering comments really don’t have anything really to say. Recently it seems the “in” thing to do is to attack people or point out differences instead of being constructive.
Its the same as the news, when was the last time you heard good news on a new show? Good news is not popular, its the bad news that people seem to think draws people.
I would much rather hear something positive about Patricia then something negative. Its been my experience that people who usually pick on things, have those same things wrong with them.
Stepping off my soap box now. lol

Hit the nail on the head, Tom. Small minds of small people needing to make themselves feel big. The unfortunate side effect is the money that all that negativity generates. Free enterprise doesn’t always have to have a conscience or morals; sad.

She looks sweet and lovely as usual. Don’t forget that in the media ‘if it bleeds it leads’. Basically, this means if it is negative, it is more news worthy. Beacuse there is nothing bad to say about Patricia, the gossip mags, or rather rags, ignore her. They only have her in the mags when they do not like what she is wearing.
If that is all the dirt they can find on her, when they seem to have bad stuff on every celeeb, you know she is a saint.

Isn’t that a faulous handbag? I would love to have one just like it!
Maybe we wouldn’t have so many of these young celebs in rehab if they showed the ones that were actually doing something constructive and helping others and it wasn’t all about me, me, me.
I was thinking about that the other day, the mags point out so and so at this club and that party and show the $5,000 outfit they are wearing or talk about the $30,000 they dropped at one store in about an hour. maybe if they showed more of the ones working side by side with volunteers at Habitat for Humanity, serving dinner to homeless people on Thanksgiving, truly working with kids in the hospital and not just showing up for a photo op, stars and kids today might try to be better people. Unfortunately, today’s kids seem to look at these overpaid and often undertalented stars and sports figures as role models instead of people who are truly worthy of that.
Is anyone else bugged by the Bratz doll collection? To me, that is showing your five year olds how to look and dress and act like a skank - I refuse to buy ANYTHING from the Bratz collection for my grandkids or any other kids.

Bratz dolls have bugged me for years. Very skanky, in my book. Not showing good things to young children, that is for sure.
YES! Focus on the good things people!

I agree with you all so much. The way some people that I know dress is disgusting. Give me a nice turtleneck in this weather any day.
It’s great that Patricia is getting a little more attention now. I’m not sure if she likes people taking her picture everywhere she goes, but it is nice to see the pictures. She looks ravishing.
And yes, Bratz dolls are silly. My cousin loves these, and wants to dress just like them. I keep telling her she should go in a different direction, but she won’t listen to me. And I’ve heard enough about some celebrities to last a lifetime (and I think we all know who they are). My cousin loves to watch them whenever they are on TV. But that’s my cousin for you…
