Patricia Arquette Radio Interview 3/28/2007
Were you here for Open Mic Night last night? No? Well then you missed this great radio interview with Patricia Arquette by Johnjay and Rich.
She called in to their Arizona morning radio show from New York City yesterday while she was on her way to do The View. We already knew she was there to do The View, Today, and David Letterman, but she also mentioned Rachel Ray. I cannot find a thing about her Rachel Ray visit on the Interwebs yet, but Patricia Arquette fan Michael tells
us Rachel Ray is prerecorded. I will keep an eye out for more info in the next week or so and let you know what I find out.

Why is Patricia out and about so much these days? Along with promoting Medium, she is promoting her brother David Arquette’s movie The Tripper. He is such a goofy guy. I hope his movie does well.

That was fun, but I wish she would have concentrated on promoting Medium - why isn’t David the one out promoting his movie?
I hope she doesn’t already know bad news about Medium and therefore is not really promoting it as heavily as she could.

Betty: I don’t know if Patricia knows anything already but if you’ve read the article at eonline about the Save One Show campaign (which it doesn’t look like it’s going to be Medium, by the way), there was a segment in there about the show and Kristin(who writes the blog) quoted show sources and network insiders as saying they are hopeful about the show’s return. Patricia said that even though it was a major undertaking and a grind, that she believed there was a higher power at work, and that she would be okay either way.
I think she enjoys doing the show, but she has a very matter-of-fact outlook. She’s always said that acting is a fickle business and she doesn’t put too much faith in any of it, because she knows it could be gone in a minute. So I think that’s where she’s coming from. JMO.

Dawn,
For someone who has a small child, series work is at least in the same place and close to home much of the time. If she were to be doing movies again, it would take her away from home. Even though the hours are long, at least she has a regular pay check and knows where she is going to go to work for most of the year.
