    I picked him going insane, but really, I think this show would go downhill fast without him. He adds such a nice feeling to all the scenes he is in, and they have such great chemistry together. He always makes me smile. I think they should just give him what he wants, whatever it takes to make him stay. But, if he had to leave, I could not handle a death, and a divorce would be so unrealistic (they work well together, and are in love). They would be crazy to let such a great guy go.

    First of all, I don’t even want to consider the possibility of Jake leaving the show. I mean, as much as I love the show, it just wouldn’t be the same without him. But if he did, God forbid, decide to leave, I think he should die so that he could continue to be a part of Allison’s life and guide her in raising the girls and going on without him. But really, why are we torturing ourselves with this scenario? I myself will continue to bury my head in the sand and tell myself that all those rumors are just that. Rumors. Period.

    I’m sure they are just rumors but it got me thinking. What the heck WOULD they do if they had to get rid of someone?

    The show is called “Medium” not “Joe” Ha Ha! They could work around it if they had to - just think of the emmy worthy scenes they could write with a death/fatal illness/fatal accident.

    One of the most famous cases of an actor who got unhappy with his very high profile role on a high profile show was David Caruso on NYPD - he left after the first season and it went on just fine for how many years? He really drives me crazy on CSI Miami - actually, they all do on that show! The original CSI is the one and only IMHO!
