Well lookie there, Deanna Troi from ST:TNG tied for your favorite psychic with Allison DuBois from Medium.

I proudly admit I voted for Counselor Troi because, you see, I love all things Star Trek. (Well, except for Deep Space 9 and Voyager. How can one go from pasty skin with a bunch of tubes sticking out of it to looking like Jeri Ryan? And will the horrible “you can never be too thin” Hollywood stereotype really persist that far into the future? Says it ain’t so, Seven of Nine.)

But my love for Star Trek takes nothing away from my love for Medium. Of all the psychics portrayed above, DuBois is the most realistic. She has a family, they argue, her husband is supportive but not a pushover, the kids bicker at every possible moment…and Allison just happens to see dead people. I like that about her.

Watch for a new poll to go up later today. I had one all ready to go about what we should do to the NBC executives who relegated Medium to mid-season, but now that they are bringing it back next month, it just doesn’t seem all that relevant any more. We shall see…
