As much as it pains me to say it, I did not really enjoy The Whole Truth. I think the part where Allison kept hearing a boy crying for help but then did not realize he was dead when she found him in the hole clinched it for me. Since when does she hear from living people? And the ending leaves things wide open. Sure they can get the backpack from the safe but is that really going to stand up as evidence against Casey? He will never confess to killing the Assemblyman so he will likely go free. Very frustrating.

Yep, The Whole Truth stunk! I would have thought perhaps the Casey guy would have killed the Assemblyman BECAUSE he had abused him, or to stop him from abusing someone, etc, and not just for political gain. Did they not have the forensics people checking out the scene of the crime at all? Guess I’ve watched too many episodes of CSI to think they would completely miss the evidence supporting murder and not suicide. I agree that Allison would not have been fooled by a ghost thinking it was alive. Maybe in the first season, but not now.
