Safe and Relatively Sound in a Cheap Hotel
I do not actually consider $125 a night to be cheap, but I am staying in a foreign country called “Manhattan Beach” where the US dollar exchange ratio is apparently unfavorable. At least the price includes Internet access.
As you know, I am here because I am visiting the set of Medium tomorrow at 2:00pm. (Squee!) After congratulating myself for successfully navigating the treacherous L.A. traffic to get here, I promptly took a header onto the bathroom tile and totally skinned up my knees. (I was trying to step over the ethernet cable I had ingeniously (and unsafely) stretched across the walkway so I could blog in bed. Who says blogging isn’t hazardous to your health?)
I cannot remember the last time I had skinned knees but I’m pretty sure I still wore pigtails and Toughskins. But do not fear, Medium fans, I will not let a couple of skinned knees slow me down at tomorrow’s set visit.
Recap and photos coming soon.
