Sofia Vassilieva Talks About What Has Been Going on in Her Life
May 14, 2009 by Katelyn
Sofia Vassilieva did a great interview with TV Guide about what she’s been up to. And she looks absolutely adorable with her new hairdo. Very grown up and still innocent. I love it! As great as it looks now, I do still hope she grows it out to be as long as it was in the above photo though. I don’t think Ariel would seem the same without long hair!

Patricia Arquette Is One of the Best TV Moms
Starpulse has created a list of the best mother/daughter pairs on tv. The recent Medium scene where Allison announced that she was going to get Ariel the help she needs and was so supportive of her desire to get through school without seeing ghosts seems to have really helped them land their spot in the top five. I’m glad Patricia Arquette and Sofia Vassilieva got the recognition they deserved!

Patricia Arquette Interview About the Supernatural
The Reading Eagle has a nice Patricia Arquette interview article up. She talks about the supernatural and how she messed around with things as a teenager, but wouldn’t do so now. In fact, in the interview, she says, “…Don’t mess around with what you can’t explain.”
She also mentioned that someone she met while filming Stigmata warned her not to use an Ouija board.
Besides chatting about the things she doesn’t mess with, she talked about how she never expected to have so much success with Medium and about how hard it is to direct.
While there wasn’t any earthshaking …read more
Not So Wordless Wednesday – David Cubitt
March 4, 2009 by Katelyn
Okay, it is supposed to be Wordless Wednesday, but I just can’t help a little gushing. I’m going retro on the first Medium Wordless Wednesday with this promotional photo of David Cubitt taken in 2005. Why retro? Because NBC is being so stingy with publicity photos for more recent seasons and because this photo is so worth looking at more than once.
Can you imagine that Medium began without Detective Scanlon? It is enough to make you a bit nauseated, isn’t it? Medium would just not be Medium without him!
Alright, I’ll stop talking now and just let you look. …read more
Sofia Vassilieva Starts a Blog!
March 1, 2009 by Katelyn
So, wondering what Sofia Vassilieva has been up to recently? Wish you had the inside scoop on her portrayal of Ariel? Your wish is granted! That’s right…NBC has an actual blog by an actual Medium actor on the site. And I was excited when Glenn Gordon Caron used to have a blog.
WooHoo! Yippee!
Umm…so you may have noticed I’m just the teeniest bit happy about this news. There’s only one post up so far, but I’m hoping for more. The blog, called V-blog, is nicely designed and is a big step in the right direction. NBC can do …read more
See Patricia Arquette in Person
February 6, 2009 by Katelyn
var iamInit = function() {try{initIamServingHandler(420,644,580632,”http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/Resources/Css/css2.css”)}catch(ex){}}()
I know some of you were really sad that you couldn’t make it to the Paley Center to see Patricia Arquette, so I know it will just make your day to find out she is doing the signing at the NBC Experience store again this year. And if you can’t make that, either, at least you can catch her on The View!
I won’t make either live appearance. I wish I wasn’t booked up with other things to do! However, I’ll be glued to my screen when she is on The View.
The Perkiest Medium Commercial Ever – Superbowl 2009 Commercial
February 2, 2009 by Katelyn
Heroes, Chuck and Medium teamed up for a disturbingly bubbly commercial, cheerily mouthing the words to Feelin’ Alright and doing musical dance routines. I almost hurt myself laughing when Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber started doing moves after they sat up in bed.
I think this is the best commercial NBC has ever done. It was memorable and quirky and people will talk about it.
Allison Dubois Is Looking for Cases
August 6, 2008 by Katelyn
Allison Dubois has a notice on her website about her new show Soul Evidence. They are looking for cold case homicides to investigate. I was interested to see that the victims must be at least 18 years of age. I wonder why they have to be adults?
She states that they are not taking any requests from people to look into cases if they aren’t related to the victim. I’m glad to hear this, as I can imagine it would be very painful to have a t.v. crew asking you about the case if you were trying to go on …read more
Patricia Arquette Designed a Yoga Bag for Charity
Want to help a charity for breast cancer survivors and get a yoga bag designed by Patricia Arquette? The Swarovski crystal decorated bag is up for auction on eBay until May 15th and comes with the bonus of a photo signed by Patricia Arquette. It is no surprise that the bag up for option has plenty of bling. You can see in this photo of Patricia at an event last year that she likes a bit of glitter! You’d better have deep pockets for this one, though. The starting bid is $100.
I love the way people come up with references …read more
Interview With Kim Stempien
I had a chance to interview Kim Stempien (She went by her nickname M.W. on Lifetime’s America’s Psychic Challenge) and I thought you would really enjoy hearing from someone who is a medium in real life.
1. When did you realize you were psychic? Did you realize you were a medium at the same time?
I wasn’t one of those kids who saw ghosts or other things, but I remember saying to myself when I was around 15 years old “I wish I could read minds”. I was very sensitive to the thoughts of others (to this …read more
