I have been to a reader who read very poorly. One of my daughters is a very good reader, but she grew up and moved away, so I better get a book! LOL!

I went to a psychic fair with my daughter once but the reading was rather vague and general and maybe some of it applied to me but overall I found that reading cards for myself gave me more insight into my life and personality. Tarot is fun but I am not sure it can tell the future.

I visited a Tarot Card Reader about 20 years ago and the only thing I really remember them saying was that I would be meeting a tall dark religious man. I believe I met that man and he unfortunately passed a few years ago.

Visited a medium about 40 years ago and took my oldest son with me who did not believe in all that stuff he said. What she told him and me has come true and he could not believe it when i reminded him 10 years ago that it had. She told
him he would meet a dark hair lady like his first wife and that they would have two children. Believe it or not his wife does look like his first wife and they do have two children and three children (my great grandchildren who are beautiful to say the least).

I used to have tarot cards, but I couldn’t interpret them, so I got rid of them. I went to a medium in Sedona last year, and she was pretty accurate on a coming event in my life. I want to be able to do my own, too.

I had two readings. The first reading was nothing…the fortune teller stole my purse. Seriously … the second time, the medium told me that I would not have children. I have four. So I would say that I haven’t much luck with readings.

There was a tarot card reader at a college event I went to once. She told me that I would be getting married and moving within three years. I thought it was a generic answer (most college students move and plenty get married, though I had no marriage plans). I was married within a year to someone I hadn’t met at the time and we moved to Japan after I graduated, so she actually she was right on.

Years ago I would see a young Itallian woman who was dead on with many things, then she stopped reading them, something spooked her. Next I went to a charlatan who just tried to seperate me from my money. I would read my own, always looking up each card in the tarot book. I wasn’t very good. Thanks for the giveaway!

About 20 years ago I decided to try tarot cards. I bought a deck and a book about how to read the cards. it was basically on a lark. Two of my friends were spending the night at my house and the next day we were going away for a beach weekend. So I whipped out the cards and the book I still hadn’t read.
I laid the cards out like they showed in the book and went through card by card as to what they meant. Well you might be blown away. I told one of my friends that according to the card she would soon meet a man who had children and he would marry her. I don’t remember all the whys and wherefores of the whole experience but I remember just that one reading took forever because i had to keep going back and forth with the book and the cards.
My other friend decided she didn’t want me to try one for her and since it was late we called it a night. The next morning we went to the beach and had a blast.
A month went by and my friend called me to let me know she had met a man like I described. I told her that it had only been a game and not to make too big of a deal about the whole thing Instead she went on and on about all the things that matched up to what the reading said. OK OK I reminded her that i was simply reading a book and didn’t know what I was doing. I cautioned her again not to throw herself into a relationship because of a game.
A month later she became engaged. I was kind of spooked and I hadn’t even met this guy. I knew her through work and she was now working in a new location. (one of the reasons we went on the weekender). She was so in love and I was worried. Within two months she was married. The guy was a widower and was raising his three kids on his own. Within six months she was pregnant. (spooky because I had told her that the cards said she would have a baby in the near future).
She’s still with him last I heard. I put those cards up and never played with them again. I put the book up and have since misplaced everything. I think it would be interesting to do again.

I dressed as a fortune teller one Halloween when I was a little girl. I read palms based on a book I had and used a Crazy 8 Ball to tell fortunes–I remember it being a lot of fun.

I love tarot cards! I have many decks but have never really tried to learn till now with the Victorian Romantic deck…its beautiful! As far as readers, you get the meat and potatoes kind and the fluff kind, you never really know, Thats why I want to learn to read myself….and I love Mary Greer too!!

I’ve never been to a card reader, but I’ve read cards myself before. I used to do card readings in college for donations of sandwiches and drinks. However I’ve never been good at doing readings for myself. I’d love this book.

I visited a psychic several years ago. She told me my future hubby’s name, the number of children I would have, and many other amazing things…all true. When I encouraged my DH to go for a reading, he came out stunned and questioning me on how much I had told her about him….nothing….he is now a true believer.

I got to talk to a really amazing tarot card reader/angel intuitive that I won a contest for..what she told me that my angels wanted me to know was really on target and it was backed up when she checked out my astrology chart..it was something I had thought myself but I blew it off and let me ego get in the way..when I read her answer(I had never talked tor mentioned this to her) it was priceless my reaction..as the angels had made a statement that backed up when I first wanted to discount it….
I also talked to another psychic who I never met before and she was dead on accurate about picking up about what was going on in my life and even my talents and what I was seeing..
All of my experiences with psychics,etc. have been very positive and real..
I have been wanting to learn the Tarot for SO LONG and this is the book everyone mentions as one of the BEST.. so I hope I win this..God willing!

I went to a fortune teller who read runes at a Renaissance Festival. She told me I would leave my job with the month. I laughed it off…I had been there 12 years with no intentions of leaving. Big blow up at work - I quit - 3 weeks later!

We went to a psychic fair in a place my husband had TDY’s in, El Paso and chose somene we gave no info too yet she knew very specific things including that my husband had died as a child and by drowning. She said my baby had been waiting a long time for me!
She did say some unusual things like my husband is an alien and cool things like my baby is an indigo but mostly very specific things - even things we’d been thinking and not told the other - like my husband had been thinking of going into politics - something I would never have imagined - and he’d been researching how to become mayor.
