The Many Hair Styles of Patricia Arquette - The Late 1990’s
You know, I really love Patricia Arquette’s hair in the Medium season four episodes. However, it didn’t always look this way. Let’s take a look at some of the hair 
styles she’s worn over the years:
1996
In February of 1996, her hair is very elaborately styled. While the style is definitely fancy, it kind of steals the spotlight. My eyes went to the hair before they went to her face. Also, I really don’t think it flatters her face at all.
August 1996 gives us a much simpler hair style, (hoorah!) but she’s hiding one of those gorgeous eyes. (By the way, this photo is taken at the Beyond Ragoon premiere and who gets the photo named after them? Nicholas Cage!) It really isn’t the best look for her, but it is a tasteful style that gives her a lot of hairdo options.
1997
Next, she’s sporting very thick bangs in the summer of 1997. I know it was the style, but there really
aren’t many people who looked attractive with this haircut. We used to call it the head lice look because of friends who came to school with a similar style when there was an outbreak. I have to say she wears that haircut better than most people, though.
1998
Early 1998 brings a smokin’ hot hair style. Patricia Arquette looks ready to take on Sharon Stone with this tough girl ‘do. (Can you tell I kind of like this hairdo? Really? I didn’t think I was being very obvious.) I like the dress, too. A good color for her and cute details on the bodice.
Whoa. I…wow. Umm…Well…What a difference a few months makes, huh? This is July of the same year. Not even someone as attractive as Patricia Arquette can pull this one off. Definitely not her best style choice. Maybe a theme because of the Snake Eyes movie Cage is in? I’m thinking “Yes” which makes that strange hairdo just adorable because she is supporting her man right down to the hair on her head.
1999
In April 1999, she gets the bangs right with this adorable cut. Really flattering and still long enough to do plenty of different updo’s for glamorous evenings out on the town. A perfect hairstyle.
We round out 1999 with another nice style. Sophisticated, yet simple. This is grown up party hair that is a perfect foil for her elegant clothing.

Great summation of Patricia’s umm, how shall we say, eclectic,.. hairstyles of the nineties. And that doesn’t even cover some of the interesting ones of this decade.
But one thing you have to admire about her is her fearlessness when it comes to choosing her clothes and hairstyles. She is an incredibly brave soul to try some of the things that she’s tried, and the funny thing is, that bravery makes many of those looks work for her when they would be a disaster on anyone else. And for someone who is always in the public eye, that takes a lot of guts. Wish I had that kind of courage. I’m a fraidy-cat when it comes to hair and fashion.
