Too Odd to Resist
I know I just did a Freaky Friday post yesterday, but this is just too odd to wait until next Friday. According to MSNBC:
A man with no arms and one leg who wouldn’t stop driving despite a long list of traffic violations was sentenced to five years in prison Friday on felony driving and drug charges.
But that’s not really the part that had my mouth dropping open. That honor is reserved for the news that he is also charged with kicking a police officer. That a man this determined wasted all of his energy and determination attacking law enforcement officers and driving unlicensed is sad. Imagine what he could have accomplished if he would have focused on something art or science related. Anyway, am I the only person that thought of Monty Python’s black knight when I read this story?
