TV Guide Two Page Medium Spread

by Katelyn on February 18th, 2008

If you didn’t get to pick up the February 18th issue of TV Guide, you missed a really nice article on Medium. A two page spread! There was a lot of stuff we already know, but a few new tidbits, too. Glenn Gordon Caron mentions that he really wanted Anjelica Huston to take her role, but never dreamed she would accept it.  Anjelica Huston says she’s actually a bit psychic in real life and mentions that Cynthia Keener turns out to be much nicer than she seems in the first few episodes.

And the big spoiler - In a March episode, Allison has to keep a secret from Joe when his mom tells her she has cancer and does not want Joe to know.

I did see that, Katelyn. Isn’t it great that they FINALLY decided to give Medium some attention? Sure, and like you said, all it took was for the entire freakin’ industry to come to a screeching halt.

But just as soon as those so-called “watercooler” shows get back on the air, you know it’ll be back to the same-ole-same-ole.

It was a nice surprise to see Medium FINALLY getting some attention. NOW if they will just do a multi page spread on ALL of the actors in Medium the way they do for Heroes, Lost, Bionic Woman, etc.

Yea for Medium finally getting some well-deserved attention!

Hey, guys, I know this isn’t related to the topic of this post, but it’s about the next episode and this is so cool that I had to share it with you. The next ep is called “Girls Ain’t Nothing but Trouble” and features Allison’s nemesis Larry Watt. But the kicker of this ep is that part of the ep will be filmed in the style of silent movies.
NBC has a video up about the making of this ep and it looks really cool. It’s so funny to see the actors dressed in period costumes from that era. Leave it to the Medium producers to come up with this. This is too cool!

I wonder how much Patricia had to do with this, because she LOVES silent movies (Her husband proposed to her by editing himself into a silent movie because he knew how much she loved them). I can’t wait to see her on the Tonight show this Friday night and hear what she has to say about doing this episode. Should be fun.

Oh darn, I missed it. Well, I’m glad at least Medium’s getting noticed.

The one week I decide not to read the TV Guide…
