Homicide: Life of the Street! THAT’S where I had seen Jon Polito before, the actor who played Vincent Discala in Better Off Dead, the ghost who ran around in his underwear the entire episode. On Homicide, he played Detective Crosetti, who meets an unfortunate end (at his own hand) after only about a dozen episodes.
