Which Celebrity Would Play You in Your Life Movie?

by Katelyn on February 5th, 2008

Laura thinks Patricia Arquette would be perfect to play her sister if her life was made into a movie. I thought it sounded like a really fun time waster to think about who would play different family members in my life.

I’d love to say Patricia Arquette would be the perfect actress to cast as me, but there isn’t much resemblance! If Angelina Jolie wasn’t so horribly thin, she could play my sister.  Tom Cruise could play my one brother easily, although he acts more like Jim Carrey. My mom and Doris Day when she was a bit younger would have been a good fit. I guess it is easier to cast family members than it is to cast yourself.

So who would play what in your life?

Lol, Katelyn. I saw that blog too, and thought that was pretty funny. I’d have a hard time figuring out who could play my family, except my parents, of course. I’ve always thought Tyne Daly reminded me a lot of my mother, and Cliff Robertson would be great to play my father. (Is he even still alive?) I’m not so sure about my brother and sisters, I’d have to think about that.
It would be cool to think Patricia Arquette could play me, but we look nothing alike.

I guess the question we’d have to ask ourselves is at what period of our lives are we talking about. Now, or in our younger years?

I think my dad would be interpreted by marlon brando (if he were still alive!)

My mom would easily be played by Patricia Arquette, because they’re so lookalike!! Only that my mom is a brunette…

My brother would be played by Cassie Afleck, because he has this thing that makes him look like darkish but cute.

And me… I don’t know. Maybe Michael Carbonaro, but with a “little” more weight.

    LOL!

    Dawn,
I’m pretty sure Cliff Robertson is still alive. In January, he posted some sad news on his website about losing his daughter to cancer. That’s so sad.

    F!TO,
I wouldn’t worry about your mom being a brunette. Patricia Arquette has played one several times in the past.

Gosh, I’ve never given it one thought that anyone would ever have to play me in a movie. I suppose parts of my life would make a good soap opera and the other parts, well, they would probably bore people to death. I don’t think I even remotely look like anyone famous, nor do any members of my family. Although people used to think my ex-husband looked like the singer Eddie Rabbit - if anyone remembers him. People frequently call me “Mary” instead of Betty, so I imagine I must look like a Mary, not necessarily a famous one!

    What’s up!
Angela Bassett most definately. Perfect likeness…just kidding! My middle child looks a lot like the girl that plays the oldest girl on the Bernie Mac Show except my girl is younger. Oh yeah, my mom is a spitting image of Phylicia Rashad, she gets tired of people telling her that.
